Tropicalia Restaurant is a hidden gem with friendly staff who speak English. The stewed chicken, pernil, and oxtails with rice, maduros, and beans were flavorful and moist. The portions were generous and satisfying. The atmosphere is lively with foreign music playing, giving a unique experience. The oxtails, tilapia with peppers and onions, and goat dishes were all delicious. The hosts Alicia and Vanessa were helpful and made the dining experience great. This spot is definitely worth a visit for authentic Dominican cuisine and a welcoming environment.
