Different Cheesesteak #1148. Tuesday drinks and cheesesteaks with Amigo Dan. Special Wilmington addition. I liked that I was close to home, easy parking on Market St with parking app, learned that Reynold’s Candy used to occupy this space and amigo Dan’s grandmother was a regular customer. Absolutely my most favorite chicken salad sandwich ever! I've tried to re-create this chicken salad at home, and it's just never as good. Cavanaugh's always has delicious food - my husband's grilled chicken BLT sandwich was delicious as was his fries. I just love this place!
Cheesesteak sub was delicious!! They have those hard to find real fountain cokes. That alone would take me there! The old historical building is worth experiencing. Service was outstanding. The carry out was booming when I was having lunch.
