Chuck Lager America's Tavern

We’ve been loyal customers of this restaurant for months, coming at least 1–2 times every week, and we’ve never had any issues with our food—especially our wings. We always order them well-done, and they’ve consistently come out perfect.

Unfortunately, tonight was completely different. Our wings were barely done, and when we expressed our concern, the manager told us “that’s just how they are.” That response was disappointing, especially knowing how often we dine here and how we’ve never been served undercooked wings before.

We truly enjoy this place, which is why this experience was surprising and honestly frustrating. We hope this is addressed, because we want to continue supporting a restaurant we genuinely love.

Ordered fish tacos for lunch. It was difficult to find the fish that was buried in oil soaked breading.
Glad I ordered a side of fries as a filler.

We got take out and while I enjoyed my food, my partner did not enjoy his. He was not happy with how his steak was cooked, but I lived my meat all sub. I also got their street corn and it is some of the best I have ever gotten from an American restaurant.

This is very close to home but never truly liked the what it looked like from the road. Really you can’t see it. We met Sam Mousley at another event and loved his music. He said he played here. That’s how we made it. I’m impressed with the place. Very nice inside! Food was very good!

Great atmosphere and service. However, the food hasn't impressed me much in the three times I've been here. However, because of the atmosphere and service, I would return and not give up on finding fare that I would enjoy.

Good food . Fish and chips are the best
Beer choices are difficult to choose . Drafts are good but change constantly and the servers don't seem to be educated in different types of beer to help you make a decision

I use my card for hotel points and our go-to left the program, so we were looking for somewhere else I could get in 12 visits by the end of the year and earn some bonus points. After looking at the menu and hearing about their happy hour, we thought this would be our new favorite. We walked in saying hopefully we'll be coming back 11 more times. Then we walked out saying ok well, maybe just once more for that giant pretzel. I'm not going to say who it was specifically because maybe it was just a bad day, but we felt like it was an inconvenience to wait on us. We really enjoyed the happy hour sliders and the cheese curds. The meat in the tacos was delicious, we were not a fan of the happy hour nachos as they were soggy. The happy hour drink menu is great. So maybe a drink and a pretzel but then somewhere else to earn my points.

First time dining at Chuck lagers was very impressed with everything! The food was absolutely delicious! The service was right on point! Our server Casey was very professional very helpful and knew the menu! Casey made us feel very welcome and was eager to explain all about the history of chuck….very interesting! The manager also stopped to welcome us and made sure we were happy! We will definitely be back! Had the fish and chips which was out of this world the portion was huge! Also had a couple of appetizers which were amazing!!
