I have a torn meniscus and walk with a fairly exaggerated limp. As I was walking into the restaurant I held the door for a young man behind me, who did not say anything, walked past me and got in line in front of me. Granted, this is no fault of the restaurant, however a sign of the rest of my experience. I have eaten at and ordered take out from other Jamaican restaurants, this is not my first stop. After taking the man's order who had stepped in front of me, the lady working disappeared in the kitchen for a few minutes, then came out to ask me if she could help me. The entire time I was in the restaurant she was on bluetooth talking. I got up and approached the counter and let her know the entrée that I wanted. She asked if I wanted it with cabbage and I let her know that I wanted it with mac n cheese and plantains. She acknowledged and rang me up, then asked me to step aside so the man who cut in front of me could pay, which I did, starting to walk back to the table where I was sitting. As I was walking she said, " you can just sit back down". In a few minutes she bought a container of food out and put it in a bag, tying it up tightly. She had an empty smaller container open in her hand as if to put something in it, I was thinking plantains. As I was walking back to the counter, she pointed to the bag, indicating that was mine. I looked at the empty container in her hand and she pointed to the bag again and said "that's it". I thanked her and she asked, "did you want me to bring that to you?" I said "no" and thanked her again. When I got to my destination I discovered that I had NO plaintains. This lady was not welcoming or friendly to me, unlike other Jamaican restaurants that I have been in. Also, in the other restaurants you are shown your food before it is bagged up.Parking: I parked around the corner and walked back. I didn't feel that this location was safe.

This place is pretty nice. People are cool and usually polite. I've been to this place several times and the food has always been good. However, this time, the food was cold, the fish, usually my favorite, was under cooked, plantains dry as cardboard. The worst experience ever! The yams? Absolutely nasty! This was enough to keep me from going back ever again. It was like they took food that someone didn't pick up or had been sitting out and gave it to me. I honestly want a refund.

Ordered off of grub hub a jerk chicken wrap and chicken patty to share with a friend. The flavor was amazing. Spice was just right too. Unfortunately the half of the wrap gotta LOT of cartilage and bone in it, so that was a little disappointing. The patty was good .

The place is hit or miss honestly. They have really good soup but the other food was sometimes burnt or done well. The customer service is horrible. Ordered using Uber eats one day...any other time if they didn't have what I ordered, I would immediately get a notification via the app which then prompted me to order something else or cancel the order. One day, they did not do that and waited until the driver got there to have him call me to ask if I wanted something else. I declined but they didn't prompt me to cancel the order. Another driver picked up the ticket and was going there to get my ordered. I called to state that they usually gave me the option to cancel if they didn't have what was ordered but it didn't happen and they kept arguing saying that I declined to replace it with something else. Rather than argue with them, I hung up and called the other driver to prevent them from going to the restaurant and had to call Uber eats to have them cancel the order and refund my money. Jamaicans have a tendency to be rude as hell and that day was one of them.

We've been going here for a few years and the food is always delicious and the service is friendly. This is authentic Jamaican food. The oxtails, curry chicken, shrimp, breakfast, soups are all good. Oh and I can forget the beverage and patties (but get there early the patties may be sold out).

This have got to be one of the worst Jamaican food I've had. There was no flavor to anything the Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless cheese only on top stuck together,no meat on oxtail.

Today I ordered lg curry chicken and lg brown stew chicken. The portions were massive and the food was hot and tasty. What amazing service we received as well. I got a big bang for my buck today. I am truly impressed and will definitely return again.
