Talk about appetizing Jamaican cuisineā¦then one MUST visit Nicelysā Jamaican restaurant in Wilmington DE. The service is considerately.excellent and atmosphere is always friendly. I highly recommend their oxtails, jerk shrimp and salmon not to mention their signature jerk chicken

Food is incredible! Got two large plates and housed it. The oxtail is so tender and falls off the bone and the sauce is perfection, allows the oxtail to shine! The jerk pork is only available on Friday and Saturday and is a must get. The pork is fork tender, not dry, good mix of fat and meat with a seasoned jerk crust that is flavorful and lightly spicy. Also the beef patty was very well done with flaky crust and well seasoned and evenly filled beef. Plantains are less sweet than I'm used to but collards, cabbage and rice and peas were all great sides. 10000/10 would come back

I ordered jerk chicken, and Iām sorry to say that that was one of the worst foods Iāve ever ate. It had no flavor AT ALL. Itās like it was just cooked with water and burnt pieces from the grill. And the cabbage was horrible, it look like they threw canned vegetables in it too. I know this restaurant has a lot of potential but I really hope they work on the flavoring.

Tried the curry goat. Hot and spicy, strong and deep. the opposite of blandness. Large size is enough for 2 meals.
I ordered the brown stew chicken, the taste was so bland. The sauce wasn't sweet or having any flavor. The sauce was super dark which is uncommon in brown stew. The customer service couldn't save the place either. I wouldn't recommend.

I had the stewed chicken and my spouse had the curry goat and oxtails. The food was edible but had nooooo Jamaican flavor. The only sides they offered was cabbage and rice. Overall it wasn't worth the $30 spent. They offer no traditional dishes as I wanted a roti. I'm not from the area and was upset when I seen another Caribbean establishment down the block that I wish I tried.
2024 - 2025 Update! I've been coming since under new management. You will definitely be served some good food with a bad attitude.
