What a treat to find a conscientious vegan menu where every item on the menu looks amazing. It was a hard choice between the Caribbean platter and the empanadas so my partner and I got both. They truly were the best damn empanadas I've ever had. I loved the flavor of the plantains with cabbage and curry chickpeas. If you're thinking about going here or even if you're not, you should just go ahead and treat yourself to some of the best vegan food in all of Delaware. They're in a food court place so there is going to be something for everyone. It's a nice environment with lovely outdoor seating. The ambiance by Rooted AF is peaceful, they make sea moss smoothies and fresh cold pressed juices with really unique and tantalizing flavors. There's some info about nutrition and business cards for a couple other like minded businesses. π Eat & enjoy every bite.

Absolutely horrendous. I placed a pickup order while passing through the area on a roadtrip, with the pickup time set well over 35 minutes before my arrival. I walk up to the counter and ring the bell multiple times before realizing no one will answer. I had to linger in the sight of the kitchen for 5 minutes before a lady comes out to greet me. She looks at me with the blankest face and seems surprised & annoyed to see a customer, and I let her know I'm picking up an order. She looks at the order ticket and says she will have to make it now. NOTHING was ready I waited 20 more minutes for her to make the order. I was given sauce on the side which was put into multiple little containers & placed in a paper bag. When I opened the food, ALL of the sauce spilled into the bag as the lids were apparently not sealed properly, see the photo below. The falafel burger was tiny & I got about 10 fries which I paid extra for. Please do not waste your time eating here.

Had the Friday special - Caribbean Dinner. Delicious curry chick pea stew with red cabbage and plantain. She was very accommodating to my requests and the food was delicious! Wonderful experience!

The food is delicious and the ingredients are high quality. Fantastic all-around. Itβs located in the Chancery Market so they give you a buzzer after you order and you can just grab any table, itβs all open seating. I tried the falafel burger, jerk mushroom βcheesesteakβ, and the Caribbean bowl - all were incredible!

This place is an absolute gem! The cooks here are seriously talented, whipping up some of the most delicious food I've ever tasted. I almost wanted to get my order to go, but the vibe inside was too good to leave! π Everything was so flavorful and satisfying. Definitely coming back for more of that amazing food! π #BlackOwned #FoodieFinds #EatLocal #Delicious

Loaded fries were the highlight of my meal and my day if Iβm being honest. There was lots of loaded and lots of fry! Trina killed it, what can I say. Iβd a photo of the meal (Rasta Pasta, mushroom cheesesteak, empanada, loaded fries) but every last bite is gone!

Iβve eaten at hundreds of fully-vegan restaurants around the planet & Rooted AF is one of the best. I make it a point to drop into places like this while on the road & this time it was a grand slam. We had the loaded sweet potato, the Carribean bowl & the potato/pea curried empanadas with the turmeric drink to wash it down. 10/10. Amazing. My mouth is watering thinking about it!!! Thanks, Rooted AF! ππ±

If youβre in Wilmington then you need to hit up Rooted AF. located in the corner of Chancery Market. They offer a variety of specialty vegan dishes and snacks. I went with βThe Izzoβ wrap and it was freshly prepared. The chipotle cauliflower had great flavor, and even the side of fries were super fresh. Also, canβt beat a Jersey shoutout to the U.N.I.T.Y. menu item iykyk. Great overall spot.

Horribly overpriced for just okay food. $15 for a slider that comes with nothing else is embarrassing. Spent $50 for two sandwiches two drinks and side order of fries (tiny). Wasnt even close to being full. Needed to order a pizza from the nearby shop. Rude service too.
