AWESOME cafe with delicious pastries & coffee!!! I lived in Europe for 7 years and the Riverfront Bakery in Wilmington, Delaware reminds me of all the amazing European cafes that I went to --- if you want the best in European desserts & coffee Riverfront Bakery has it all :)
Based on reviews I was anxious to try it as I love a good French bakery. I’m sorry I did. The croissants were the first disappointment. They should have many thin layers, be flaky and bakery. These were none of the above. The scones made my teeth hurt from the amount of flour! They lacked any flavor at all. The lady at the counter told us what was in the case was all they had. When we left we saw the case had been replenished with some offerings not there when we arrived....read full review
