“Used to go to Hall's regularly until they lost it. Recently tried Mike and Mels and were pleasantly surprised. Split pea soup is the real deal, chunks of ham and delicious flavor. So is the chicken noodle soup. Chunks of chicken, a hearty broth and great flavor. Liver and onions is done just right and tender. Have tried several burgers and they do a nice job on them. Good breakfast, but I am not a fan of their home fries. Reasonable prices and good service.”

“10/10 recommend! I’m from Anaheim, CA, and this is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Delaware. We had the quesabirria tacos and they are excellent! Definitely try this place, you won’t be disappointed! We did take out, but the service was great, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and inviting.”

“BLUF: Do not come here if you're looking for a place to relax and enjoy a beverage by yourself, harasses customer and acts extremely unprofessional. I hate having to put one star on service because the wait staff/bartenders are awesome. However last night I dealt with the most unprofessional and disturbing interaction with a "business owner". A patron at the bar was harassed by one co-owner, who was very clearly drinking too much. The individual told a group of girls no, when they asked him to take a picture of them. He politely refused. The co-owner who wasnt directly involved decided that she couldn't let that stand. She confronted the individual and told him she thought he was a bad person and an Ahole, conversation lasted about 10 minutes of her accosting him. Completely out of line. However it doesn't stop there. Her being obviously inebriated and mad because they guy didnt roll over while still being polite, she goes home to tell her husband who is also apparently a co-owner. Instead of being an example of what a professional business owner looks like he then comes to the bar and gets extremely aggressive with the individual, immediately says "do we have a problem here?". The gentleman tries to explain but macho man randy isn't there to discuss his out of control wife and apologize on her behalf and behalf of the business. He is only there to try and intimidate a patron for trying to mind his own business. The absolute worst ive ever seen ANYONE that owned or even worked at a business act. Hope they do better in the future.”

“Shout out to Bubbakoos in New Paltz NY. I forget to hit submit on my online order so when I went in to pick up there was no order for me. When I saw my mistake they made my order right away. That was so awesome of them. I really appreciated the awesome customer service- especially when the error was all mine.”

Edit: I live in the area now, and we've been coming regularly. Magnolia restaurant was even my wife's choice for her Birthday dinner! Its a sleeper for sure, a quick stop off of rt 1, or just south of Dover if you're looking for something different!”

“Veronica’s is by far the best pizza in Kent County—and maybe even the entire state! In my opinion, nothing beats brick oven pizza, and Veronica’s does it right. They even have GF, vegan and vegetarian options! I’m always greeted with great energy, and you can feel the good vibes the moment you walk inside.”

“When in for a meal after being at work all day. It was one of those looonnnggg days, staff was great. Manager greeted me as soon as I walked in. Sat at the bar had a few apps and my entire mood changed. Food was amazing. Never been to this spot before but I’ll certainly be returning.”

“I love this new breakfast/brunch/lunch place. It feels like a higher end Panera in terms of the food. Everything seems freshly cooked and not frozen. This place is always packed, so download the app and sign up for the wait-list. I live about 40 minutes away, and I've been able to time it just right. This place makes Dover a better place.”

“I think the breakfast here is great, however, can't you do better with your beverage prices. I mean almost $3.00 for coffee per person. This adds almost $ 6.00 on a bill for two people.”

“Tomeka's is what a soul food restaurant should be and they do everything right. They have excellent food, excellent customer service, and an excellent atmosphere. The fish and chicken are cooked to order so be prepared to wait a couple of minutes for fresh food. Thank you for restoring my faith in restaurants. I wish all restaurants followed your model.”

“Your Little Rd location in Arlington, TX is great. Will be a regular, as I’m in the area at least 3 days a week. Would’ve been a regular in Mansfield as that’s where I live, but, they seemed to not want to be bothered. No greeting when I walked in. The young lady went to make another smoothie, but didn’t say anything to me, and there was no one else in the store. The guy in the cowboy hat was within my view, I’m pretty sure he saw me standing there waiting too, but he continued his conversation with someone in the back.”

“Texas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite restaurants…and my dining experience today cemented that even more. Matt was our server and he was EVERYTHING my family needed and more! We were waiting for 2 other guests to arrive and he was so patient! He was so great with my toddler! He was on the ball with everything we needed! Our food was cooked perfectly! My 1.5 year old got to meet Andy Armadillo and got small toys to play with! Thank you for accommodating my family so well…Definitely requesting Matt next time!!!”
