“Used to go to Hall's regularly until they lost it. Recently tried Mike and Mels and were pleasantly surprised. Split pea soup is the real deal, chunks of ham and delicious flavor. So is the chicken noodle soup. Chunks of chicken, a hearty broth and great flavor. Liver and onions is done just right and tender. Have tried several burgers and they do a nice job on them. Good breakfast, but I am not a fan of their home fries. Reasonable prices and good service.“

A plate of fries, shakes, cakes and pies.

So the lose a star because they don't have shakes. This is un-American. A Diner has shakes, it just is.

And yet, they don't.
So sad.

“The food was amazing. I ordered the blacked salmon with asparagus and a baked potato. The environment was nice and peaceful. We sat outside ...only issue was the flies flying around our food.. still giving it a five star“

“This place is a gem hidden amongst the reeds. The staff are amazing, very friendly. Clean and tidy, there are tables inside, and there are tables outside with umbrellas. It's just a great place to get fresh made dishes to simple sandwiches. They also have Hershey ice cream, I think 10 flavors I could be wrong, and if you want an ice cream shake, this is the place to go.

Parking: 5 spots in front, 6 to 8 spots on the left side, and a big lot on the left for trucks with trailers and so on.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 handicap spots directly in front of the grill.“

“We happened in while visiting for a music fest. We were really impressed with the food, it exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed the “sauce em up shrimp” the most, ordered 2 different times. These are not your basic breaded popcorn shrimp! We also liked the boneless wing bites. Great selection of sauces. The homemade mozzi wedges were also delicious. Wouldn’t hesitate to eat here again and try more of the menu!“

“This is place is amazing. We go here a couple times every few months and every time we go its just amazing. Service is absolutely amazing, the hostess is always super kind and we always have a super cool waiter. The management is amazing also. The wait for the food is a little long but its typical for a restaurant. We waited and bit long for our fries one time and they served us dessert on the house for the wait, amazing. The restaurant itself is very cool, has a bar inside with plenty of tvs for sports. I definitely recommend this place for a place for dinner with family, friends or just night out on friday. Love the food, its always hot and absolutely delicious. Totally recommend this place.“

“Texas Roadhouse has always been one of my favorite restaurants…and my dining experience today cemented that even more. Matt was our server and he was EVERYTHING my family needed and more! We were waiting for 2 other guests to arrive and he was so patient! He was so great with my toddler! He was on the ball with everything we needed! Our food was cooked perfectly! My 1.5 year old got to meet Andy Armadillo and got small toys to play with! Thank you for accommodating my family so well…Definitely requesting Matt next time!!!“

“The crab cakes were VERY BAD. Aside from that; everything was delicious. Chris was our server and she gave awesome recommendations and switched out the crab cakes as soon as we voiced concern. We had the southwest chicken Mac & cheese, a warm pretzel and the buffalo cauliflower,(that last one per Chris’s recommendation), which were incredible. Also had the spicy margarita and the spiked Arnold Palmer. We sat on the back patio which overlooks a pond. It’s nice and tranquil. The inside seemed pretty festive and lots of people were seated at the bar“

“Excellent meal and of course it's a little pricey but, it's an upscale place and it's not totally out of line. You get what you pay for and it was well worth it. I got a ribeye steak that's probably the best I've had in years. Everything was excellent...cocktails, appetizers, all top notch. Service was great as well, Elijah was our server. All to be expected from a top-notch place like this. We had a totally enjoyable experience!“

I had the constitutional and added strawberries to my pancakes. I substituted my sausage and bacon for turkey products as well. It was a great morning. “Loved this place. I was working in Maryland and needed to cross Delaware off my list of states to visit. I went to another local bar first and it was boring. The locals then recommended I come here. They food was good and the locals were all very welcoming. I was more than 1,000 miles from home in Missouri and the patrons here made me feel right at home. I hope the little beer shots idea I gave them stuck! They locals loved them“

However, while we were here (my 9 year old and i) there was a server who got mad at the bartenders boyfriend who was a paying customer at the bar. She kept threatening him to go on and step outside then her boyfriend is out side and will take care of him. She said it like 10 times and I was clear across the restaurant. “Been a LONG time since I’d even give the Turtle a chance, things had gotten so bad there in 2018-2019. But so happy we did! The “triple play” option gave us a nice variety, while keeping everything reasonably priced. Our service was consistent without ever being over the top. Food was very good, and hot. It had not been left sitting under a heat lamp. Check out the “home run” option if those drinks are in your wheel house! Or you’re one who saves room for dessert! Will, for sure be putting this back on our list! Staff was clearly prepping for the dinner rush by cleaning and stocking needed items, but it never took away from service.“

“This Applebee's was surprisingly good. A positive and pleasant experience. They were very accommodating - party of 6, no prior reservation. Manager and servants were pleasant and welcoming. The appetizers were plentiful (pretzels and cheese, spinach dip and wingettes with garlic parmesan. Main entrès were steak, salmon, chicken burger, 1/2 rack ribs, sampler platter and cheeseburger. Sides were prepared well and tasty. I hadn't been to an Applebee's in 12 years prior. This location has earned my return visit. No photos this time however worth thr visit.“

“This place may be a chain but thy make excellent pizza. It tastes so good you can eat the whole pie including the crust. This location is huge and has an arcade inside too which is fun. Theres different things to buy on the menu and you never leave hungry. This is close to dover raceway so you can go here for food.
