“Customer service is great and the food is delicious“

“I recently tried Mochi Cafe’s Croissant Smash Burger and wow — this wasn’t your average burger. The croissant bun was buttery, flaky and crisp, giving the whole sandwich a light, almost pastry-like lift that balanced the heft of the burger patty. Inside was a generously thick smash-style beef patty, seared to perfection: crispy edges, juicy center, and an unmistakable caramelized crust that made each bite deeply savory. The melted cheese hugged the patty just right, adding a gooey, velvety layer without overpowering the flavors.

What really sold me was the texture play — the croissant’s delicate crunch against the bold, rich burger, paired with the warm, gooey cheese. It felt indulgent but not heavy. If you’re looking for something more creative than a regular bun-and-patty burger, this is a must-try.

“I loved the gluten free options! Only complaint I have if any, was the wait time was a little strange. Didn’t have many customers (4 total) and I waited over 20 minutes for an Italian bubble sandwich. The crew wasn’t super quick to get things done. The sandwich was good but I feel like the customer service could be worked on.“

“So happy I decided to stop here. When they say authentic New York pizza they mean it. I’m Bronx born and raised and good pizza is what I grew up on. The garlic knots were so fresh and flavorful. Once I took the first bite I knew this place was a keeper! Definitely coming back because I have to eventually taste everything on the menu. Margarita pizza was so good, the tomatoes & basil were fresh and the mozzarella was delicious.“

“I know this isn't a local joint, but it was late and local options were slim at the time. I wanted to send a shout out to Waffle House on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville for an excellent experience last night. We walked in for a late dinner at 10 minute to 9. They were packed and short staffed. We grabbed the only open table and the shift leader (manager?), who was also cooking, brought our drinks and took our order, advising that it may be a wait. While we were there, 4 staff members that had been called in to help showed up and went right to work. They were a well oiled machine, continually checking on all of the tables, apologizing for the wait, and thanking everyone for their patience. We got our food and left within an hour. If we had gone to the IHOP 2 doors down, we would have still been waiting for our food (even in the best of times.) I know times are tough for the service industry right now, but these ladies and gentlemen handled it with grace and efficiency. I tipped 50% of the bill, and would have done much more if I could have.“

“This was my first visit, but will not be my last! My daughter and I went to the St. John's location where we ordered cocoa waffle, plain Korean chicken, coconut blue, peach green tea with Crystal pearl, fried French toast and a cute plush. Total was about 50$ before tip. All of it was delicious! The staff was very friendly and the inside was clean.“

“Stopped by this Waffle House heading to a cruise and was immediately greeted by an amazing server named Kat/Cat. She was pleasant, friendly and extremely inviting. Her personality was everything. She constantly checked on us and was so charismatic. The food was actually perfect. Everything was right on time and this experience made our day. Perfect way to start a vacation. I frequent Waffle House in Dallas and this visit to #71 in Jacksonville Fl near the airport was by far the best, thanks to Kat/Cat! If you are ever in Jacksonville Fl be sure to stop by and ask for Kat/Cat, it will be worth it. Thanks Kat/Cat!!“
