“Alva Country Diner We stopped into the Alva diner on Wednesday around 12:30pm. This place is old school Florida, it’s very basic but clean and neat. They do not take credit cards so make sure you have cash. We got a seat immediately as they were not that busy. Our waitress Tara took our drink orders and came back fast for our food order. The menu looks small but is larger than what you think. I believe there is something for everyone in there including Broasted Chicken Dinners or pieces to go. I ordered the Open-faced Turkey with Mashed Potatoes, gravy, and coleslaw. My wife ordered the Scallops, Carrots, Mashed Potatoes and Salad. Our Friend ordered a Hamburger with Fries and Cole Slaw. Tara brough us some rolls and my wife’s salad to hold us over until our main food order came out. Our main food order came out fast and it looked great. My Open-Faced Turkey and Mashed filled my plate. It was very tasty, but I do wish it would have been a little hotter and my bread did not have much gravy on it under the Turkey. My wife’s Scallops were hot and very good as was everything else she had. Our friends Hamburger and fries filled his plate, and everything was hot and very good. This is a small diner with a large menu, large portions plus prices are not that bad. Make sure you visit this place you will not be sorry. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our family needed a location for my mom's celebration of life ceremony on short notice and I reached out to Tammy the GM for help. I can't express how thankful I was for the ENTIRE staff for ensuring that we had a hot buffet, seating and amazing waitresses Ashley & I think Julie (I'm horrible with names). The cooks did phenomenal keeping up with everything. The Perkins team worked seamlessly to ensure all 50+ppl who attended were taken care of. If you need a location for a meeting or gathering I'd highly recommend Tammy and her team. Thank you all again for everything.”

“I will be back! Upon entering Aromas bakery, I was overwhelmed (in a great way) by their huge selection of sweets. They have cake pops, cake slices, tons of ice cream, and tons of donuts and sweet bread. To be honest, I was on the hunt for the perfect chocolate donut and I found it! The dark chocolate frosting and sprinkles paired so well with the cake-like dough of the donut. I was in Donut Heaven!?❤️?❤️?❤️?”

“awesome wish i found this place 5 years ago. looks like a small latin grocery store BUT they make all the food in the back and have pastries and full meals and great prices with a few small tables and counter to eat at in the back. a few miles from my house at 82 and colonial just into lehigh i'll be back often.. love the music too.. lots of pinadas on the ceiling and every type of hot sauce you can think of and fresh jalapenos to buy with other veggies.. corner of lee & gunnery only 7miles east of colonial exit on 75 (exit 136)”
