Our recent dining experience was a perfect evening, especially for my visiting cousin and her husband who recently wed. We took them there as their wedding gift and were unexpectedly seated in the Salvatore House which was the ideal romantic setting. Duarte (forgive me if I spelled it wrong) was an excellent server and their Paella is the best I have found. The tapas, entrees, and sangria were all flavorful and delicious!“

“Our recent dinner at Burlingame was an absolute delight, truly a celebration of amazing flavors and a wonderful way to mark our 35th anniversary! It's a beautiful restaurant inside. The exterior looks like a house but inside the decor is sophisticated. You will need reservations, it's very popular!

We could really tell the chef put a lot of care into every dish.
The crispy skin salmon entree was just delicious. The skin was perfectly golden and crispy, and the fish itself was so tender and flaky. The pork chop was another standout, with incredible flavor and a beautiful presentation. And the Asian-inspired octopus appetizer? It was tender, flavorful, and a fantastic way to start our meal.
We were also impressed with the generous portion sizes, ensuring we left feeling perfectly satisfied. The rustic bread served before the meal was wonderful and was just the right amount. But the real showstopper for us was the creme brulee. It was creamy and rich, exactly as it should be, and the caramelized top was absolutely perfect – a delicate, crackling layer that gave way with every spoonful. The fresh berries on top were a great touch. It was a sweet ending to a truly memorable evening.“

The hamburger is a great choice here and ask for the mixed fries (sweet and regular). I had the house salad with blackened scallop add-on and that was delicious. Their chili feels very home cooked ( great flavor with natural ingredients). I imagine with a full crowd indoor would be loud.“

“We dined for brunch on 3/9/24 and had an absolutely wonderful experience. It was a VERY rainy morning which meant there were no outdoor tables for anyone. There must have 10 people waiting for a table in their reception area at the time of our reservation. In spite of this, the staff remained smiling and cheerful while they delivered a great dining experience. Their hostess worked very hard to communicate the status of everyone’s place in line along with those customers who had made reservations as well, again with a very pleasant demeanor. Now to the food! They have quite possibly the best French Toast I have ever had. The brioche bread was thick and perfectly prepared. My wife had their Caprese omelette and cheese grits which was also just terrific. The wait staff were attentive without overdoing things. Coffee cups never got empty before a refill was offered. One of our group was a tea drinker and she had a teapot of hot water and tea bags seemingly within seconds of ordering. The highlight of the meal came when we mentioned that one of our diners (the lady with the tea) was celebrating her birthday. The owner of the restaurant, a lovely woman, came out and actually gave gifted her the tea service that was on our table! She would not hear of us paying for the set and said she wanted to make a gift of the set. Completely unexpected!! I cannot recommend this restaurant any higher. In spite of a very difficult morning, none of which was their doing, the staff and management made everyone’s morning better!“

Our server was training a new girl and was doing so good at it. She was very nice and checking on everyone. I don’t remember their names but they were both blonde and deserve a shout out!!“

“Ron was an excellent server. I asked a lot of menu questions, and he was very patient with me at noon on a Friday. Thank you, Ron. I had a (bakers) dozen raw oysters, and they were quite good. Mediumish size. My lunch guests had the grouper and the shrimp tacos. They both looked super yummy.
