This isn’t regular fruit you can find at Publix and you feel different eating this. There’s actual nutrients in this. Ice cream one can feel good about eating loads of. And let’s not forget the Sea Moss! Great source of iodine which everyone needs. In my research on my patient population I’ve found everyone is iodine deficient. People can correct this by visiting this establishment and asking for the Sea Moss. Your health will improve dramatically and you will feel more energy.“

I ventured away from my usual Thai Bowl and tried the Big Italy with crispy chicken and spaghetti squash. Dang…was it good! Portions were sufficient, well-prepared and proudly served. This selection might just become my favorite at Cali’s. Granted, the staff consists of young adults who are, in the least, committed to going to work to earn their pay. Their attitude is encouraging. Some of the comments posted may not be fair. One has to allow opportunity for on-the-spot redress of an actual or perceived wrong (the menu is self-explanatory or can be clarified by simply asking). “Had to go in for Everclear and some last minute adult Christmas gift items. Quick and painless. About average grocery store liquor store selection. Unfortunately they no longer carry the short 375ml bottles of Noilly Prat dry vermouth, ideal size because I end up pouring 90% of every bottle of vermouth down the drain cuz it goes bad so quick... I like my martinis dry but I do not drink enough of them to ever finish a bottle of vermouth once it's opened. Anyway they do carry usual selection of vermouth just in the taller bottles.“

We’ve lived locally for a year and I cannot believe this absolute gem was right in front of us the whole time. Mandola’s Italian Restaurant in Riverview completely blew us away from the moment we walked in.

Every single detail was exquisite — the service, the food, the atmosphere, the vibe… all perfection. You can genuinely feel the care and pride from everyone: the cooks, the servers, and the store managers. The attention to detail is unmatched.

When I say I left charmed, I mean it. I’m already telling everyone I know about this place, and we are officially becoming regulars. 💯

I’ve never been to Italy (it’s high on my bucket list), but wow… the second I stepped inside Mandola’s, it truly felt like I traveled. The warmth, the authenticity, the experience — just WOW.

“Frankie’s is as real as it gets for an Italian deli in Florida. I go back whenever I’m in the area. Very impressed with the sandwiches that offer NY staples like a chicken parm or chop cheese. The pizza is also pretty comparable to what you find commonly in NY.“

“Closest to a NY pizza on the west coast of Florida! Also a BEC on a poppy seed Keizer roll NY style.

But the Sicilian we ordered a few days after Christmas was very disappointing. It was very busy and there was a long line. So I ordered online instead. The Sicilian pie was made on what tasted like stale Italian bread. Was difficult to chew, hardly any sauce, and the pie had No flavor. Tasted like cafeteria school lunch. So unfortunately we had to throw it out.

That’s won’t stop us from returning to Frankie’s Deli as we truly Love their Pizza!“
