This ain’t bbq! Ribs and chopped chicken were baked and dry. They only give you half of a baked potato and they don’t have sour cream! We still don’t know what “Alabama white sauce” is and we’re from Alabama! Don’t believe the reviews.

This was a great place to relax and enjoy some delicious, quality BBQ, freshly made and prepared.
My friend and I tried Papa Diesel's for a reunion lunch. I arrived a few minutes early and was made to feel very welcome by the hostess at the counter as I waited for my friend. I refused the offered beverage but did accept the menu to review as I waited. We were seated in a comfortable booth with excellent service throughout our stay. While I found the menu limited, it offered a good variety, and everything we ordered was delivered hot and fast. The wings were large and tender, my chicken sliders were yummy, and my friend's salad was plentiful, and she said delicious. I would definitely try Papa Diesel's again if in the area. The friendly staff is reason alone but the food begs a return, too.

The platter I order was $28 and it's not worth it. The Mac and cheese was box Mac and cheese. The fries was cold. The only thing that was tasty was the wings. Another tiktok recommendation is a thumps down.
The food was amazing. Tender meat, salted and seasoned just right! Ms. G was so kind and authentically warm. Service was good and food came out fast. Sooooo yummy!!!!

Absolutely delicious food. The beans were some of the best. The sweet BBQ sauce was so good and has a smoky kick to it. Also, the cilantro sauce over the potatoes was a revelation. Papa Diesel knows what he's doing.
