“We came down to Jax for my birthday and a good friend of mine recommended TacoLu. We sat outside and the weather was perfect! The food was to die for! Perfect portion sizes and the price of the food for the portion size was better than what we pay at home for Mexican food. We will definitely be back to eat here! “This place was SOOOO good! I highly recommend the steak tacos and their fresh guacamole. They also have live music on Sundays, that was a pleasant surprise. I went for their 2 for 1 happy hour, it’s cool that they have happy hour all day every day. Very nice staff. Will be going back for sure.“

“We took out from here two evenings in a row. First night we got 2 chicken, 2 beef enchiladas which were super tasty. Second night we made our own “California special” with a chicken taco and two beef enchiladas. The chicken taco was really good with good chunks of tender, flavourful chicken.
The first night 2 gentlemen gave excellent service, and the second night there seemed to only be one person working the floor, but still great service.“

“A good backyard family experience: lights on the food truck, tables and chairs, authentic Mexican 🇲🇽 music. I had the chicken burrito 🌯 and a pina🍍 agua fresca 🥤. A good place to hit nutritional gaps without feeling overly full or having too much salt, definitely coming back. Friendly family serving the people.“

“Horrible service. We weren’t checked on once. The waiter was talking to someone at the bar the whole time, so we had to ask a waitress walking by if she could get him for us but she started going on about how people keep asking her for things and stormed off. Then we asked another waiter for the manager so we could figure out what was going on and finally get some help, and he said he was coming but he never did. We had to go to the bar to get our waiter’s attention and he still forgot what we needed. The place wasn’t busy at all. He was just focused on someone, either a friend or girlfriend, and the other waitress had a bad attitude. We are very understanding when it is busy but this was not the case, we had to go to the bar and practically beg for what we ordered. We will never go to a Salsa’s location again.“

“Friendly staff and owner. I didn't know what to expect but was greatly surprised. We had the pork enchiladas and a shrimp platter. The shrimp platter was my favorite. The plantain appetizer with avocado was amazing too. I'm going to have to add that one to my personal recipes.“
