I’ve been coming to this location here in Avon Park since 2014. The food has been served cold a few times but I have always let side with out a complaint . But tonight on 1-17-26 I just couldn’t let this kind of behavior towards a customer go!!!! Over ordering a plain BUN …. I have never had a problem before when asking if I could have a plain bun instead of a seeded one . That wasn’t until tonight when the old lady who was running the drive-through window told me that there would be a extra $.30 charge for a plain bun . When I said my mom cant have seeds , and that I have always ordered it that way without any issues or extra charge, She in turn said “ Well I have been working here for the past seven years we always charge” . I said that's okay never mind , I’ll go next-door to MacDonalds and order her one. She again speaks out saying go right ahead they don't give out seedless buns either without a charge. I let that comment go and we proceeded to move forward to exit out of the drive through as we passed by the window She hollered out “ Wow we got a bunch of really nice people right here . …..Really why say anything like that to us just because I was taking my business elsewhere because she couldn’t not provide what I needed for my mom without an extra charge. I’m totally appalled with all of her comments and unprofessional behavior we received tonight . I will not be returning to this location.

Not my first time visiting this location. Staff is very friendly and sincere. Food was hot and fresh.
Menu options don't seem to be as diverse as they once were but I didn't have time to read the whole board.
When did Checkers get to be so expensive? It was $12 for a medium chicken crunch sandwich meal! Must be the minimum wage increase trickling down.
And, to be honest, the sandwich wasn't that good. The bacon and BBQ sauce helped but the chicken patty seemed over cooked (really dark, and tasted like the grease was old). But, maybe it's double fried to get it crunchy? I definitely won't be ordering that one again.

Fries are the best, fast food fries in the game! Burgers were fantastic. They were getting slammed at lunch and there was a little wait, but worth it. Completely on point with our order, Food was Fire!!!!

My food was cold, my read was not toasted and there was not very much brisket on the sandwich. I wanted to add a photo of my sandwich,it doesn't offer the option.
I'm always weird about stopping at franchises I've never been to in other places because "What if this one is bad" compared to the other ones I'm used to but this one pleasantly surprised me. The person that took my order was very kind and worked well with me when I wanted something in the menu that they didn't technically have anymore but they remembered how to make it so I got it anyway. So awesome service!

My wife ordered or family of 5 online and all I have to do is pickup I always asked them to separate the food to make sure the order is correct and all there the shift manager told me I will give you bags to separate the food yourself and the food is all there fine no problem check the food told her something is missing and she said nothing missing I said ok when I got home and passed out everyone food something was missing a chicken sandwich so I called Checkers and told them I was just there and a sandwich was missing the swift manager that told me everything was there also said yes a chicken sandwich was missing so I had to go back.to correct the mistake they gave a loaded French fries but I wanted some wings she told me she couldn't give me wings for her mistake no problem my family of 5 will NOT be eating here again just another fast food place that won't be seeing our money again.
