As a true connoisseur of Chinese Food, China Wok rates 5 stars! Their food is the absolute best I have had! Owner/Chef makes a special Dish for me chock full of chicken, veggies, cashews and green peppers ... Delicious! Super clean restaurant, fast take out service, outstanding food which is reasonably priced. Highly ... Highly recommend!

Where to start, the food was poor quality cuts of chicken that should have been discarded and the new menu lunch specials are up 50% from the menu online, the real surprise was the upset stomach soon after eating for both of us, and to top it off the lunch special cost was $23 and she handed us a tip slip for carry out, save some money and pass this place by.

It was my first time eating Chinese and my friend recommended me to eat at the Chinese Wok in Avalon. It was the decision I made! I was very confused about what to order at first but luckily, the girl on the phone was so nice and helpful. She helped me explain each dish, allergens, and recommendations. I have very strict diet limitations and since that allows me to eat only certain food, I was very touched by the attention the girl had given me. When I got there to pick up, I realize the girl was also the same person that helped me out the other day at the gas station! I’d trust my baby and dog’s life to this girl if I have to. The food was outstanding and so flavorful. You don’t have to trust me, but the food speaks volumes.

Ordered by phone with no issues. Order was ready when they said it would be. Food was excellent. General Tsos with pork fried rice. Beef sezchaun, pork lo mein, fried egg rolls, beef sticks. Best in Highlands county.
The bourbon chicken was passable except for the rice (too sticky). We had rice noodles, to make the story short I won’t eat here again. The lemon ice tea was ok.

I just moved here and let me tell you as a south Floridian, where we have lots of good Chinese spots. THIS is authentic good quality Chinese at a good price. Staff is also friendly and the back cook area looks very clean and maintained. Excellent overall 👌🏼
