“Was on the hunt for lengua and tripa tacos and I came across this gem in my google searches. It is a restaurant connected to a grocery store. The restaurant is beautiful painted down to the tables and chairs! I ordered an assortment of tacos to try (carnitas, lengua, tripa, carne asada). The tripa was crispy and light. The lengua was soft and melt in mouth. The red salsa is delicious. I also had a cantaloupe agua Fresca and it was amazing! Highly recommend for authentic street tacos. Service was great. My waitress helped answer any questions I had and was attentive :)“

“Vida is amazing! We went for brunch and learned it was their first day serving brunch. Everything was amazing from the food, drinks and service to their little terra cotta pots the food is served in. I had the chilaquilles with added shredded beef and my friend had the avocado toast. Divine! The atmosphere is very upscale but not too fancy. Summer brunch is going to be amazing. Andy the manager is the best! Thank you for a great start to our girls day out!“

“This place is great for a quick counter service meal. The inside is very nice and the bathrooms were clean. We ate outside on the patio for lunch. I ordered the Cali-burrito. It wasn't anything special but it was good. My friend got the Hot Taco burrito and said it was amazing (and it was huge). We shared chips and queso which was good. Our food arrived before our drinks and we had to go and ask about them after we'd had our meals for a few minutes. I think they'd forgotten to make them but after we asked they did bring them promptly.“

“Have been wanting to try this place, have heard nothing but great things and they are all true! Was greeted by 2 associates at the door welcoming me, they were very cordial. Anderson, the manager on duty came up and answered any questions we had about the menu, very gracious host! The selection was great, the food was amazing, had the steak tacos and steak/rice bowl. Food was delicious and plentiful! Their salsa is now my favorite, fresh, delicious and plentiful! So far, I've only tried the chicken and it's pretty good, the flavors and toppings you can add really makes it tasty and your own. I've also gotten the tostada bowl too. Today, my wife on an excursion without me in the area, brought me an octopus chimichanga, based on my previous experience, which was unparalleled in a Mexican/fusion type place! Last time… AMAZING!! This time…someone had the poorly considered idea to add pineapple to a savory chimichanga with octopus as the star of the dish. The pineapple induced vomit. A horrible experience! If you want an exotic dish, well prepared and presented, I will admit… DON’T allow pineapple to poison the flavor of the savory seafood. You will puke when you swallow. Save your money. Be discerning when placing your order. The restaurant is awesome. This particular choice of service was nothing less than horrendous.“

The flavor, the service and the value were all on point. Miguel provided top notch service...friendly, efficient, and miracle of all miracles he refilled our drinks without asking! (the service is so consistently bad everywhere else!) The table side guacamole was great although a touch heavy on the citrus but still delicious. Chile Rellanos was made the way it's supposed to be with real Mexican cheese and deep fried. Carne Asada was beautifully presented. “Mouthwatering, succulent, and delectable are the only words in the English dictionary that come close to describing our unique experience with this food. As Californians (ethnically Mexican) our most arduous task has been to find great authentic Mexican food like back home. We had honestly given up until we found Hunger Street Tacos. I speak no exaggeration to say that these are the best tacos we have had in Florida. To this day weeks after the wedding on 4/20/2024 we still have family and friends rave to us about the delicious food that day. Even our family from Durango, Guadalajara, and Mexicali, Mazatlan Mexico commented on how amazing the taste was. And the taste of the food was only matched by their amazing service. From their rich, diverse tasting to the wedding day we felt wrapped in support and full of good food. The tacos never stopped until all our guests' bellies were full. If you want great food, amazing service, and a taco coma to remember Hunger Street is the place to be. Our appetites were definitely sated and we will continue to go here for as long as we live in Florida.“

We always have good service- but we were blessed to have Saul E. be our server this last visit & I cannot express enough how awesome he is! ?He has perfect timing with every thing from taking your order to refills of drinks - to checking on the table. He is also the 1st one to explain to us they have a rewards system & explained how it works.The food is always great. I will highly recommend this restaurant for any special events. The private room has 2 TV’s compatible with Apple & we use a laptop with HDMI connections to display several slide shows of scanned old photos. This was an added bonus for a huge gathering of family and friends. Christine was ver accommodating and always one step ahead of our needs. If you don’t believe on reviews stop by COCINA214 and try their menu and drinks first then decide whether or not the food and drinks satisfy your expectations. I just discovered this spot like less than a month and I’ve ordered 3 times. this is going to be my new spot. the food is beyond bomb! if you like real authentic Mexican food, this is the spot for you.
