“My dad and I visited this place. The service was very friendly, the ambiance was clean and inviting. The menu is simple but done right. I ordered the meatloaf with collards, green beans and Mac and cheese. It was so delicious. The veggies were on point. Mac and cheese had a nice cheese pull it was so good it’s a must order. The meat loaf tastes so good the best I’ve had in a long time. Dad order the ribs, mashed potatoes with gravy, and yams. Yes, I had to try his potatoes and yams :) I’m so glad I did! The gravy was delicious (homemade) and the yams were sweetened to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you are in a mood for good home cooking. Would love to see brisket on the menu. ;)“
“Excellent seafood restaurant in strip center off the main road. Suoer friendly staff, checked jn with me to see if all was good. The food was really delicious. I had the shrimp basket and it was probably the best fried shrimp I have had. The batter was light and tasty, and the shrimp were cooked to perfection. The coleslaw took me by surprise. I generally like sweet slaw, but this one had a slight tang to it. Really tasty - finished all in the cup. Fries just weren't right, can't put my finger on what was wrong. When I go back, I will ask for the Cajun fries to see the difference. Maybe the lack of seasoning had something to do with it. Hushpuppies were tasty as well. Really needs 4.75 stars, not 4.5.Parking: Restaurant is located in a small strip center. At peak mealtimes, I can see the parking lot being very busy. I was there before the noon rush, so I had no problem getting a parking space. Takeout orders can add to the lack of parking.“
“I recently just moved to Florida from Louisiana. I have been trying to find well seasoned fresh seafood like my hometown and boy did I! The food was outstanding perfectly seasoned and fresh. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for fresh well seasoned and wonderfully priced food!“
“Wow!!! I was broke down in the area and hungry. My brother took me here for dinner and wow!!! Service was super was attended by a young cuban girl which was on point., food spectacular and the price even better. The 2 of us ate and did not spend more than $25.Great job team.“
“Love this place! Every trip to SouthFlorida, we go out of our way to pick up a bucket of catfish filets to take home. We order ahead by phone, give them a time we'll get there and it's always been ready. Prices have gone up a little bit that's to be expected in these Biden-esque times. As long as their quality continues at a high level, we'll never complain about small cost increases! Definitely worth the stop next time you're near...“
“I am all for hidden gems, trust me! But this is too hidden! If you are lucky enough to find it, do it! Excellent customer service, an array of choices, delicious food… and when I say delicious that’s exactly what I meant! We all tried to put our plates down but we couldn’t. I think I had to roll out of their ?. But it was a great roll and I’d do it again. Be careful with the parking. It can be tricky. But I know you will #enjoy the people and the food!!
