“Normally a cafe in an art space is a convenience. This is a destination. Owner Robert is a trained chef, lovely person and wonderfully creative. Best chicken salad I have ever had and I have a list of other things to try. His grilled cheese looked to die for, a Brussels sprouts salad with or sans bacon, I know where I’m eating next time I am in Dunedin. You must try it.“

“I pop in every now and again to see how Maggie is doing. This morning I stopped by her place for some coffee and told her what was going on in my life. She gave me some words of encouragement, then later I came back to get my buffalo wrap and thank her for her word of encouragement. It lead to a new job for me. Bottom line, her place is more than a place to come and eat. She and her staff actually care. Needless to say recommend Maggie’s hands down.“

“I’d never had ramen other than store bought but love everything soup so I had to give it a try. I got the tempura shrimp with pork broth, egg, corn, bamboo, sprouts and mushrooms. I had them hold the scallions because of preference. The flavor was exceptional and all the ingredients complimented each other. Next time I’ll hold the ginger because the fresh burst contradicts the warmth of the bowl. Loved this place and the ease of ordering.
