“Good food, good selection and serving size usually has me getting a box for leftovers.Prices are fair and competitive.Friday Fish Fry is very good.This is my “go to” place because of the service, food, cost and the homey atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family place, kids are welcome.“

“Brought my two nieces and my sister in law to try this place and they did not disappoint. When we walked in we were immediately greeted by one of the sweetest ladies, not only were the adults greeted but my nieces were as well. The food and service was excellent, the ladies were so kind and inviting, we enjoyed the atmosphere and looking at all the different hats and decorations. The dessert though is to die for. This is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon. 10/10 would recommend and we will be back !!!!!“

“My husband & I ate at the whistle stop yesterday; we BOTH agree THiS place is BETTER. We didn't have to wait outside for a seat. The local cops were eating here, when we arrived, So, we could tell it was going to be good! Very impressed by the food. Literally the Best omelet that I've ever paid money for. The decor was like giving a grandma a gift certificate to Home Goods. *but the vibe was very community oriented.* Very impressed with the food. I can't wait to come back to eat here again.“

“It is legitimately the best place for breakfast in Inverness. The food at Hen House Cafe is so fresh, very tasty and well prepared. They make the Bacon cheese fries for breakfast and probably the best I have ever had. I highly recommend this place.“

“Super nice staff and I love all of the flavors. My only wish is that certain employees focus on the customer they’re helping and not get so involved with bantering with regulars as they walk in. Again super nice and I love how personable they are but the constant interruption every time a regular enters the door, prolongs the ordering and I have had my order messed up a few times because they weren’t focused on my turn and listening to me. Other than that it is an awesome business with awesome staff!“
