“I'm writing this from my cubicle in NYC deeply craving this coffee more than 3 months after my first and last visit. I miss this coffee. I have about it like a crazed subway rider. Not that I'm Floridan, have family and friends I love living there, and diabolically, this coffee makes me want to visit the state more than I've ever wanted to since I left in 2011. God(dress) tier.“

“Don't you just love the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning? I'm not a frequent coffee drinker, but when I do get the taste for a hot cup of Joe, I'm very picky on where I get it from.

Located in the Pompano Citi Centre, Foxtail Coffee offers various brewed coffee or tea made hot or cold. There's also bakery items, cold beverages, quick bite sandwiches, and ice cream. Prices are reasonable. There's adequate seating indoors to chill in its serene ambiance. The female employee behind the counter was pleasant...it being my first time in this establishment, I took my time to look at the menu and make my decision. I haven't had cafe con leche in a long time so I decided to get that. Next I ordered a egg, ham, and cheese croissant and a slice of banana bread as well.

Having some time to kill, I took a seat at an available table while my order was being prepared. Here are my thoughts:

* The cafe con leche was delicious. Not too strong and lightly sweet. Regular size is just the right amount as I do not drink a lot of coffee.

* The egg, ham, and cheese croissant was yummy. The croissant was lightly toasted enough to melt the Gouda cheese a bit for a ooey gooey taste.

* I declined the option to have the banana bread slice heated...in my opinion, it was good as is. A nice moist thick slice topped with walnut pieces.

This was definitely a nice and fulfilling way to start a beautiful morning.“

“Not just an incredible selection of coffees from across the globe, but owners who are two of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. This couple knows their coffee. Just tell them what you like (strong, light, decaf, etc), then how you typically brew your Java and they’ll recommend the best coffee that meets your taste, and if you prefer ground coffee, will grind it specifically to the coarseness of your brewing machine. We’re big, I mean BIG fans of their Panamanian coffee beans. It’s absolutely the best coffee I’ve even had and I’m no spring chicken. If you’re around the Festival, stop by and say hello. They won’t pressure you but I’m guessing you’ll leave with some of their coffee after your nose does its’ thing ????“
