Reservation for 6 people was at 6pm. Restaurant was quite busy. Cocktail order taken right away but we felt rushed to order the meal- which we did not do so. Wanted to relax, enjoy the drinks while enjoying our guests. Eventually the waiter got the message to leave us alone until I called him over. Three of us had a steak dish with peppercorn sauce but had no peppercorns. The reddish colored sauce was good but not what we expected. I had filet mignon which was OK but not exceptional....
We appreciate the reduced price for Veterans on Veterans Day. Our Tomahawk Steak dinner for two was absolutely delicious! And it was a great value, including 2 salads and 2 sides. The only thing I would suggest is to offer anchovies with the Caesar salad. The key lime pie was outstanding. Our waitress Amanda S. was wonderful. Well appointed restaurant with pianist playing background music created the perfect ambiance for a celebratory birthday dinner for seven people. Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Excellent menu offering top grade steaks (recommend the wagyu sampler), seafood as well as options for vegetarians, vegan, and gluten free. All in all, another wonderful experience at Chops in Bonita Springs!
