DeRomo's Restaurant

Our server was on top of it. We had Lasagna, Fettuccine Alfredo and Lasagna. All were perfectly prepared sitting outside on the patio is a great experience as well. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Bonita. It's a must do. 

Brought our daughter in law who was visiting from Va for dinner. Cheep was our waiter. This was the second time he was our server. The eggplant was impressive as was the Beet salad and muscles. The chicken piccata was a little disappointing. It lacked a lemon flavor. As in the past Cheep was attentive and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to see if the Bar could make a certain drink. We can't wait to return ❤️❤️❤️ You should be very proud of your staff, they exude the best of Customer Service

Average food. Meatballs and spaghetti needs more quality beef and taste. Not very good. Probably won't go back.

I met two friends for lunch at De Romo's and we dined outside because it was a beautiful day. I had a chicken parm sandwich with a side salad that was delicious. My friends both had a chicken salad sandwich and salad which they thoroughly enjoyed. Have been to De Romo's many times and recommend it highly!

Always a lovely meal, service and atmosphere. Such a great setting. Outside dining is lovely!

This is a follow up to my review 6 days ago. After posting, I was contacted by Gabrielle the Executive Chef. I had another reservation for tonight and she wanted to make things right for us. We'll, I am telling you, the generosity and attention was A+. Chef Jay visited our table at least 3 times, checking on our meals and service. Sergio was again our waiter and we had specifically requested that we be seated in his area as he was excellent last time and definitely this time as well. We had the most wonderful dinner, period. A bit of a hiccup last visit was certainly taken care of this time. We love going to DeRomo's and will continue to go in the future and recommend to others. This is our second visit in 6 days!! That's how well they do it. The chefs are great at what they do and so is Sergio. Thank you everyone for all your generosity and attention to our table. Fantastic!!!

Really a comfortable place to have dinner. Inviting outdoor seating, good if not exceptional food, attentive but not suffocating service. That's a much better than average place!

Over the last two years consistently in food, service was excellent. It's still quite noisy inside or outside.

My family and I have been going to DeRomo's Italian Restaurant in Bonita Springs for about five years. We're seasonal residents and have always considered it one of our favorite Italian spots in the area. The food used to be outstanding — generous portions, great quality, and good value. Unfortunately, our dinner there last night was a real disappointment. We hadn't been back in about six or eight months, and things seem to have changed. The cocktails were the first letdown — $15–$16 each for glasses mostly filled with ice and just a hint of alcohol. They looked nice but were weak and not worth the price. Next, we ordered the calamari appetizer. It came out dark brown and a bit rubbery — edible but clearly overcooked or fried in oil that hadn't been changed recently. For $19, I expected much better. The biggest disappointment was the main course. The portions were shockingly small for the prices. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana ($28), which would barely fill an Italian sub roll. It came with no side of pasta — just the eggplant. The other dishes at our table were similar: the food tasted fine, but the servings looked more like light lunches than dinner entrées. For a family of four, our bill came to about $250 with drinks, appetizer, and dessert. For that amount, diners should leave satisfied, not hungry. Pasta is one of the least expensive items a restaurant can serve, and adding a small side would have made a big difference. Even dessert was disappointing. The ricotta cake tasted like it had just been thawed — dry and crumbly, though it did have good flavor. To be fair, the service was good and the ambience remains excellent. But when a restaurant's food quality and portion sizes slip this far, it's hard to justify going back. DeRomo's used to be one of the best values around, but based on this visit, I'm sad to say it no longer is.

I always look at the menus on Open Table and the restaurants website prior to booking to insure they have the only beverage I enjoy. Both sites show they offer Brut champagne by the glass or split, unfortunately they do not. They only offer several prosecco varieties by the split. Not the same thing, those are very sweet options unlike a dry brut champagne which website says they offer a brand I'm familiar with. But upon arrival they do not have on the menu or offer. They had one option for a bottle of Champagne Rose' but again not the same thing. Unfortunately, I won't return.

Have not been to DeRoma's in several years BUT will be back soon. My husband and I were so pleased with our entire experience. Our soup was delicious and our entrees were, as well. Our server, Michelle, was attentive and friendly in a very busy outdoor setting! We are so pleased to have DeRoma's on our list of restaurants that we must visit again...soon!

Amazing experience with Jonathan. The food was great and service even better. The manager, Mike, came by to check on us and was very nice and welcoming. Love coming to this restaurant often!

I’ve been to DeRomo’s numerous times over the years and the food is consistently great and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is elegant and outdoor seating is especially lovely. We usually request Cheep as our server because he always provides excellent service! DeRomo’s never disappoints!
