Roy's Restaurant

We had a fantastic anniversary dinner at Roy's Bonita Springs with our sons (21, 16). On our honeymoon, we ate at Roy's Kaui location and found ourselves at another Roy's almost exactly 25 years later. We ordered drinks (Tiki Old Fashioned - it is a slightly sweeter version of the classic), Chardonnay, appetizers (the Canoe, bread service, simple salads) and mains (4-fish sampler, filet and Adobo chicken). Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the presentation was fantastic. Since it was our anniversary, our server comped their two most famous desserts - the chocolate souffle and upside-down cake. Our server was extremely attentive and anticipated everything, without being obtrusive - perfect execution. We just made another reservation - thanks Roy's!

We drcide to try something different and took a chance, this upscale reasonable priced eatery was a pleasant suprise. The staff very attentive, food excellent we both had atlantic salmon, and Manager was a delight to chat with Thank you Nick

Two of us ordered the 8oz fillet and Maine lobster tail which was to die for and another ordered the seafood and Lobster dish which was also excellent. Service was impeccable, steaks cooked perfectly to our liking. Lobster was tender and hot. We were celebrating a birthday and an anniversary so they comped us two chocolate souffle. Great place for a celebration and I highly recommend their Happy Hour.

Very few diners but service was very, very slow. Asked for extra items (salt & pepper, salad dressing) never arrived, servers were “invisible” We dine here often. This was an off night with inattentive staff to say the least.

The manager was very friendly both greeting us and wishing us farewell. The food and atmosphere was excellent. We will return soon.

Their “butter fish” from Hawaii is longer butterfish but an Arctic Char of some sort. Neither the recipe nor the fish is as good as previously. In response, the waiter asked my husband if he would prefer the Santa Margarita Pinot Grigio or the house. He initially preferred the former, then we both told the waiter to bring the house Pinot Grigio. Waiter asked if we we'd like bread service and we replied affirmatively. Only when the bill came did we realize that that Roy's charged $32-36 for a 9 ounce pour: more expensive than a bottle of the same! Bread service was $10, or $2.50 per warmed roll! Tipped 20% and left. No plan to return.

My husband and I just love Roy's. Every chance we get whether in Bonita Springs or while in Hawaii Roy's is our favorite go to restaurant.

Had a wonderful time at Roys! Everyone was so great and welcoming! The manager was so informative and fun! Mayra was also very great and had wonderful recommendations. It was a very good experience and we can't wait to be back! Food was so good!

We took my dad here for his birthday and the entire staff made him feel super special. Everything was absolutely delicious! Kelly & Alex our servers were excellent. Highly recommend

We had 8:00pm dinner reservations. They close at 9:00 midweek and yet their servers were not rushed or hurried, allowing us to relax and enjoy a good dinner.

From the Manager to the Servers and staff but particularly the food Roy's in Bonita Springs is the best Restaurant. Our Anniversary Dinner experience was flawless, the food superb, and the attention to our satisfaction during our stay was incredible.

From the time we got there, we were pleasantly greeted! We sat at the bar for about an hour had a great time with drinks and appetizers, which were fantastic. When we got to our seat and table, they had it decorated nice for an anniversary and were outstanding throughout the whole process. Our steak and fillet was awesome. We will be going back and I suggest everybody tried at least once you won't be disappointed.
