Delicious!! After my 3rd visit I can confirm this is a new hidden gem! The food was amazing, from the mussels and calamari appetizers to the bolognese and veal francese entrees everything has consistently been amazing. This time we ended with the rice pudding, my mouth is still watering!!They also have a really unique cocktail list that I will happily be revisiting soon!We were fortunate enough to meet the owners, Omar and Ali. It is clear why these two went into the business! Their food and service speak for themselves, but these two gentlemen could not have been more hospitable. I look forward to dining at their establishment again and hopefully engaging in more conversation!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Options Available

The Other Side Bistro is a neighborhood gem! The Chef prepares entrees, appetizers, and desserts that are delicious! The service is commendable, courteous, and pleasant. The ambiance is considerable. White tablecloths add a flair of elegance while making for an extremely enjoyable lunch/dinner. Do try The Other Side Bistro. You will not be disappointed!

We haven't been here for years and we were very pleased we went back. The wine list is great and a great price. The service was good. I had the calamari appetizer which was good and served with the crispy wonton gave it some extra crunch. For entree I had the lamb chop special. It was done very well and was a large half rack with 9 pieces. The lamb along with the other entrees was very reasonably priced and better than most restaurants that charge more for a lot less. We will be back soon.

While the food was good the photos and $$ price category was a little deceiving. There isn't an entree under $30 and had more of a "fine dining" feel to it than what I consider a bistro to be. The crowd is very senior citizen, and the waitstaff was pretty nice. As i said prior I enjoyed my food but I don't think the price was comparable to the portion or the overcooked seafood I had. I probably will not be back to this restaurant.

We had the pleasure of of dining at this spot last night. It was recommended by some regulars I met on the golf course. The restaurant is located in a shopping plaza and the ambiance is typical SWFL.....nice and not so flashy. This is usually a good sign. We were seated in a booth and were greeted by a bubbly server, Julie. BTW...she is a real professional. In my typical fashion, I asked her which dish is her favorite. She responded instantly with honesty. For starters, we ordered escargot, french onion soup and mushroom soup. All were exceptional. We then ordered meatloaf, sea bass and shrimp scampi. While waiting for our main course, we enjoyed some of their expansive wine selection. Julie definitely steered us right on the wines!!! The mains were all exceptional. It's like home cooking on steroids. The meatloaf was super dank!!!. The chicken scampi was excellent...but only an A-. I felt the garlic was a little under cooked but the flavor was still good. OMG...the desserts were also to die for.....key lime torte and apple strudel were awesome!!! This place is great. I jhust don't want too many people coming here so I can't get a reservation!

Food was amazing. I am vegan and loved the veggie plate! Service was fantastic. We showed up without reservations but luckily got a table. Highly recommend

Nice place. Good food and friendly service. French onion soup was excellent and meatloaf was worth the hype.

Good food, service could be better. There is only one waitress at lunch time and she rushes you to order based on her trying to manage her table load. A bit pricey for that type of service.

The Other Side Bistro is our favorite restaurant - both for lunch, and for dinner!!! Their menu is very upscale and varied, and the quality of food is always exceptional, and they offer a wonderful selection of wines. The staff is as friendly, professional , and as welcoming as can be. They have all are all long time employees and serious about providing excellent service. The Other Side Bistro menu pricing is very reasonable especially when you consider all of the other positive factors we enjoy so much.
