La Fontanella Ristorante Reviews
Excellent food. The most authentic Italian food recipes. I highly recommend. It's our favorite restaurant.
Food was excellent, service was the worst! Waiter was hyped up and never had time for us. Never came back to poor wine nor ask if we needed or want anything.
He ruined my birthday dinner!!!
Last week, I asked for restaurant recommendations to celebrate my husband’s 50th birthday. Natalie Stalowski recommended her and her husband’s restaurant La Fontanella Ristorante in Bonita. La Fontanella Ristorante is a charming place for a special evening with friends, offering great food and attentive service. The lobster ravioli, eggplant parm, Gorgonzola salad, and osso bucco were all perfection. The attentive service made everyone feel welcomed, with staff checking on guests without being intrusive. The cannelloni and veal dishes were a hit, reminiscent of homemade Italian meals, and the cannelloni was especially terrific, with rich but not overpowering sauce. Guests also enjoyed the bread and butter, expertly prepared, and the Chianti was excellent. The menu features excellent choices with great portions and no ridiculous upcharges, making it a great value, especially during specials like the early bird or September sizzle menu. The owner makes rounds to check on guests, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Visitors praised the food, service, and ambience, highlighting dishes like salmon and veal as delicious, and noting that even a 30-minute drive is worth visiting for Italian food lovers. Overall, La Fontanella remains a hidden gem with attentive staff and a cozy, unpretentious environment.
