“Walked here over lunchtime for quesadillas and tacos. Small, down-to-earth place, outdoor seating, excellent food. Not a busy place, we knocked on the house door to find her, she was happy to see us and came right out and fixed our lunch for us fresh. The wait for the food was reasonable. Hot sauces were good. Would recommend.“

“Don Tolin is a great combination of a Mexican market and restaurant. The place is spacious, clean, and has plenty of seating.

I ordered the menudo and asked them to add hominy—it was delicious, flavorful, and served in a beautiful traditional clay bowl. The service was impeccable! They were very accommodating with our requests, bringing us an extra plate and extra lime with a great attitude.

Kim was especially friendly and made us feel very welcome. You can enjoy an authentic Mexican meal and shop for groceries, snacks, drinks, and other products all in one place. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We were looking for a place to eat at after going around and doing work for our community as a church group over the summer. Food tasted amazing, rice cooked to perfection. They were so nice that they gave us some free tacos and drinks for the kids who forgot their wallets. I sadly didn’t get to take a picture of my steak quesadilla but it looked delicious.“

I had tacos on soft corn tortillas, one tripe, one lingua and one barbacoa al cabeza... WOW! The people were very sweet, awesome homemade salsa and great prices! “First time at this location. Very well lit location however, entry way to restaurant has tons of French fries in the ground & door mats. We did report it but even after we were done there were still fries on the doormats. Picked some up not all.
hostess & waitress were very low key,kind not friendly. Food was not up to the Beef's standards. My meal was burnt & hubbies was very dry. Two people came out to see if we wanted our meal remade. Not sure why it took additional people to check when we told the waitress we wanted new food? Second set of food came out perfect! Quiet sleepy town close to Thousand Trails Encore Peace River Worth a second chance Definitely!

“The manager, Chris, is awesome. I thought they made an error on my order, went inside and talked with him. I had asked if there was anything on the mini taco salad was spicy, as I'm a spice wimp. They worker told me no. Then I took a big bite, with a lot of spicy Chipotle cream. Chris, replaced my own with something that was more expensive and didn't want the difference. Good management and customer service!!!“
