The best part of this experience was when I realized I could leave. I ate the plate of nacho chips and salsa even though they were not appetizing. Once the food was delivered it was time to leave immediately. Tables were dirty and uncomfortable seating. I really wanted to give the place a chance but it failed all check points.

If I could leave zero stars I would. First, I would like to say that the service was horrible, the waitress seemed bothered by our existence and complaining about how hot it was the entire time. Her demeanor and attitude was interesting to say the least. Asked for recommendations, gave none. Probably should have walked out then. Two people in our party didn't mind the pork pastor burritos. They were out of several items though, avocado, cobia, short rib, etc. The other two of us absolutely hated the food. The lobster tacos were disgusting and inedible. The lobster was warm and mushy, not described on the menu. The beet and goat cheese taco was tasteless, ate two bites and couldn't stomach the rest. I would not recommend this "quirky" overpriced place to anyone.

Food was delicious, vegan/ital options were appreciated. My server was appropriately attentive, neither too much nor too little. The rear performance area included covering, but was otherwise open air and inviting.
5 stars here doesn't equate to 3 Michelin Stars, but it's a Taco Shack...Give Thanks And Praise. ?️

Vegetarian options: The Avocado Taco was more flavorful than the Bean Tacos, both hit the spot with a cool lemonade.

Unique is the nice way to put it…

Food was okay, we got 2 tacos, a beer, and a Pepsi…$35 plus tax and tip, and the tacos were not large. (Yes we picked lobster and crab tacos, but for their size, that is super pricey.)

People were nice, but don’t expect much, it is a taco shack…

The Bird is the Word! Chef/Owner Dave Shiplett has created a vibe and atmosphere at The Birdrock Taco Shack that can easily be compared to Key West! Nestled in the Village of the Arts in Bradenton, they provide great food, friendly relaxed and positive energy, and has some of the best live music in the area! If you are looking for a great snack, a cold beverage, some ear candy, or just want to sit and watch the day go by in the Village, Birdrock is the place to go.
