This was our first time eating here and we will definitely be back! Everyone including the owner were checking on us multiple times throughout dinner and our waiter was efficient and knowledgeable. The bruschetta, Osso bucco special, tortellini Della nono, and the tiramisu were delicious!

At CARMEN'S ITALIAN CAFE the food is ALWAYS EXCELLENT every single time we go there . Everything we order from the appetizer to the bread, salad, and entree, always tastes amazing.However the service is seriously lacking. There is no bartender so your server has to make your drink. The resteraunt is also short staffed which makes the servers stressed. The last time we were there, there was ONE server. He was the host, the server, the bartender, and the food runner. He was so hostile that when we ordered dessert he bought the dessert and then threw the forks down on the table. To reiterate, the food is truly excellent. Excellent every time. Carmen just needs to sort out his staffing.

It is unfortunate because we live very close and would love to have a good Italian place nearby, but it is far from that. We went about a month ago and had a decent experience so we assumed we would try it again. We came last week an hour before closing with five people in the waiter had to go in the back and seemed like they did not want us to come even though they had an hour until closing. He said we will probably be out of a lot of stuff, but you can come have dinner, you can tell he did not want to be there so we quickly ordered and did not have any major problem that night. Tonight we decided to try it again after a baseball game and we did not feel like cooking. My husband ordered a grouper pasta dish and he said it was very sour and did not even look right. We had to wait over 10 minutes to tell our waiter because he never came back to check on the food nor did we get even one drink refill the entire visit. The only other table in the restaurant was also encountering problems, and we were looking at each other and couldn’t figure out why the waiter was so horrible, and they were not even busy. When the waiter finally came over so we could tell him that the food was not as expected. He seemed very aggravated and went back, and I could hear the owner yelling like he was mad, and did not believe us that it was not edible. We felt very uncomfortable and my son was scared because he heard the owner yelling. We did not even care about paying for the food. We would’ve easily just paid for it and left. They did take that off and the sodas, since we never got one refill, but we will definitely not be back regardless, I can’t imagine them being in business much longer

Everything was perfect! Moscato and bread starter, Shrimp scampi delicious and the Teramisu was fluffy and delicious.

Our appetizer, entre and dessert were bursting with flavor. The sauces ... Mmm Never fast food. The food has always been delicious, Any day of the week. Please remember this will be a dining experience that lasts hours. So if you have the time go enjoy every bite.

Carmen’s son was our waiter and treated our table of 12 girls like princesses. Our food was the best italian all of us have had in a while, and the service made our whole night. Incredible for the price! Thank you to Carmen’s for being the highlight of our trip!

Stopped here for dinner this evening. What an awesome meal, and the owner was so nice, and we enjoyed the conversations we had with him.We plan on making this a regular place to have a nice dinner.Hubby had the veal parm, which we haven't been able to find any place here that's serves it, until now.Todays special I had was the ravioli stuffed with braised beef it was awesome!If you enjoy Italian (Sicilian) food, this is the place to go!!Thanks, Little Carmen!

The menu has several pizzas listed, but on a Saturday night they were not making pizzas for whatever reason. So I got what they call lasagna, which is a lot of sweet sauce in a bowl that has very thin noodles with cheese and meat, that ends up being a soup. The prices are overpriced for what you get in quality, service and atmosphere.

Food was absolutely wonderful but the service was pathetic. I have never had this experience in a “classy” restaurant before. We were treated with the utmost disrespect. From the time we walked in the door, to the time we left. Our waiter, who I believe was either the manager or owner, flew through the specials and seemed like we were an inconvenience to him. All while he treated other patrons in the restaurant like royalty. Not only did he walk them through the entire wine list, but he also went into detail about specials and specific items on their menu, like any decent restaurant would do. Will not return and definitely will not recommend to friends or family. Don’t think twice about stepping foot inside this establishment if you don’t “look” like you have money.

Highly recommended. Excellent little restaurant with great food, atmosphere, and staff. Don’t expect fast food though, sit back and enjoy the experience!

Food was 5 star everything was so full of flavor!!!!! I ordered lasagna,meatballs,mozarella stick,stuffed mushrooms,home made Italian dressing is the bomb..Lil Carmen so pleasant !;)Great Authentic Italian Food!!!!!

We were buried disappointed. The food was very pasty and bland. The food came out at all different times so we couldn't eat together. There was a two hour wait four hour food. And when we ask to speak to the owner he was very rude and abrupt. Our server was very good and kept apologizing trying to make it right. Unfortunately none of us will be coming back.
