Good service and food

This restaurant has the friendliest and most helpful people! We have to do takeout, because my husband is ill, and they make sure to ask if there's anything else we'd like. The food is always delicious; they have a way of customizing even their salads to give you a fresh tasting experience.

I don't usually write google reviews but here we go.
My partner and I were nearby and stopped in for dinner, not knowing it was in a retirement/HOA community. They do not actually welcome the public, I have no idea why it says it's open to the public. The residents seemed angry/upset to see my partner And I. We heard MULTIPLE residents loudly say "we aren't open to the public, are we?" And everyone stared at us like we were naked at a funeral.

I have never felt so unwelcomed and confused at a restaurant in my life. The residents clearly don't want this restaurant open to the public. The food is actually good though lol. Take this review as a warning, you will not feel welcomed walking into this establishment if you don't live in the community. For the whole duration of our dinner we were stared at and alienated. Bizarre.

I don't live in this community but I visit alot and dine here often. Great casual menu and VERY friendly staff. What's not to love?

I am fairly new to DW & have had 5 experiences with the Lake House. All of them top-notch. From what I have heard this resturant was troubled in the past (I cannot speak to this). The staff, manager, food, drinks & service have all been quite good. It is a relaxing establishment, relaxing atmosphere so best advice... RELAX. Enjoy, don't be rushed, sit back & chill.

the new management company for this restaurant is terrible. Kyle the new manager is rude, condescending. I have seen no improvement to the lake house since he took over. He treats the staff that was there before him poorly, being inconsiderate of their time and schedule. I hope whoever is in charge of this establishment gets this resolved soon.

Wait staff works very hard. They are very friendly also. Food is delicious. I'm sorry they took away tuna, egg salad and hot dogs for lunch.

Large supercenter that is pretty conveniently located. A bit hard to find from the main road...you can see a sign from I-75 but not from SR 70......
