We had kiersten today. She was very efficient and prepared. Our children loved her butterflies in her hair. She made our experience great and we will be back like every Saturday but requesting her now! You don't want to miss this place great food service and management

I’ve given this location 6 solid attempts. With 4 different servers. I’m not sure what’s going on but it’s now worth it to me to drive 10 extra mins to Lakewood ranch main. Every single time I come in and I order right away and still end up sitting there for an hour. One time I waited 35 mins for a server to even take my drink order. This last two times I said let me order our food and drinks now because my kids are on a short time limit before they’re going to not be happy waiting for food. And even being proactive and ordering my food quickly I still waited and waited and waited. I even asked for my check when my food came and I didn’t get it till after we were all done eating and still waiting. I’m not sure if it’s the kitchen or just the logistics but I’ve spent way too many hours waiting for food to chance returning again. The food and atmosphere and location is great. Sadly I will not be returning

Food is always good and the place is always nice and busy. The staff is also very nice however for the second straight time I feel like I'm less important of a guest because I'm ordering takeout. This time I waited another 45 minutes because the food wasn't brought out after it was bagged up. Everyone makes mistakes it's just frustrating waiting an hour for takeout.

Service started out great, but as soon as our food came, our server (or anyone) was hard to get to our table. We were out of all drinks, and water for over half our meals (never did get those refilled). The brussels hash was pretty good. I'd give an 8/10. Tomato basil soup was good, and the roast beef sandwich.

Me and my wife went to First watch a couple days after the hurricane. I had never been to a First Watch. When we walked in, the restaurant was so bright and welcoming. The people were unbelievable happy and cheerful considered what everyone just went through. We were seat quick and the food was outstanding. After breakfast I had a cocktail, I recommend there cinnamon toast cereal drink...OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!. All in all an amazing place to eat

This new First Watch in Lakewood Ranch is a bright, inviting space with classic modern American breakfast fare. The service and food are excellent, and the breakfast cocktails are a highlight as well. Seasonal specials are "must tries" - best breakfasts in the Sarasota area!
Did a carry out breakfast sandwiches. The young lady working the counter was great. I ordered two scrambled egg sandwiches with bacon. 1 with cheese. The kitchen served us fried eggs. ( ok not horrible). But the bacon was over cooked, the bread was dry, and only served with some field greens. Quite boring for a $15 meal. First watch… if you are going to charge $14 for a $7 sandwich at least make it worthy of the cost. I doubt I will try them again.

The restaurant looks nice. We stopped in and put in our names. They said 20-30 minutes. 40 minutes later we check in and find out we are 5th in line still so we left. We get a text finally at the 50 minute mark. Sorry we already had time to get to another place and be seated in that time. First time to First Watch and I am not impressed. Might try again sometime but it won’t be soon.
