Been coming to Sarasota/Siesta Key for a decade…tried Pete’s out for the first time and I must say, some of the best ice cream I’ve tried. Creamy homemade ice cream. His Coffee Oreo was A++. Funny guy too. Definitely support this business and get some good ice cream while you’re here

I could maybe overlook the last listed issues if the man serving us was at least kind and/or helpful, but he was rude, snappy, and seemed displeased that we had kids with us, despite the fact they weren’t loud, or running around because they were both being hold. And if you want to ask a question about the menu, just expect a snide comment in reply. The family behind us also had a child, same attitude. Complete attitude 180 for the family of all older adults behind them though. They also keep a large dog behind the counter apparently, who was very vocal the second half of our experience and lunging at passerby when they brought him outside the shop to walk. Cherry on top, the entire menu display is AI slop between the art and text (“bubbly faamy Root Beer”, “Maital Frappe”, “Mailed milk popping”).
