This was our first time here. Very nice atmosphere. The music wasn't loud and overbearing. THE BEST Shepherd's Pie I have ever had (and I've had it in Ireland). We are adding this to our rotation. :-)

For the love of everything please don't go to this place, the waitress LAURA SASS ran my card for 78.61 I tipped her, she then turn around and run my card again for 160, luckily my bank notified me right away, I went back and asked her she pulled me to the back so no one can hear and claims her tab doesn't show it I pulled my bank transaction and showed to her she then secretly refunded the money back, I can only imagine how many people she has scammed that doesn't pay attention or receive alerts on their phones, please please be very careful eating there I suggest don't go there completely.

Do not eat another shepherds pie anywhere, until you've had this one! I was full halway, but ate the entire pie and ordered another to go!! I'm gonna be riding from winter haven regularly for this!!
I’ve loved 1916 for years. The last two times I’ve been to the Brandon location, there is a bartender, named Karli C. She is so nice to men. Terrible to women. We ordered doubles and she would make them singles, yet charge for doubles. She would press herself up against my boyfriend’s shoulder and ask him what I wanted. When she would bring our drinks, she would give both of ours to him. If he would be in the bathroom, she would ignore me until he came back to the bar, and then ask him what we needed to drink. If I asked her for anything, I’d ask nicely with a smile. She’d give me a dirty look, scoff, then take her time to get it, or would never get what I asked for. She thought my boyfriend was the one paying, so she was overly nice to him, and outright rude/disrespectful towards me. She charged us for marinara sauce when we asked for mild sauce. When we let her know, she huffed, shoved the corrected tab to him and said “10th time’s the charm”. Then stormed away. She never one time looked at me, or asked me what I needed, always talked to him or other men at the bar. When she saw my debit card, and that I was the one paying the tab, not my boyfriend, she hit a wall. Her face was shocked and looked like a deer in headlights. As if she would’ve been nice, had she known. I tipped her extremely well, and wrote on the receipt “please be nice to other women”. She should not be in the food service industry. I will not be going back to the Brandon 1916.
