I forgot why I stopped coming here. It's because the food is overpriced from the hot stand. The guy charged me $15 for a medium cup of who knows what. And $11 for the full meal, why is a medium cup $15 when the meal is only $11??? I paid $31 for $15 worth of food. It's too expensive. I didn't even ask for the small cup I thought that was included with the meal. But turns out it was $15. I need my money back or else.

This place is a scam.. I tried it twice.. the 1st time i order rice and beans, plantains and chicken. I added a small seafood salad ( about 4 or 5 Oz with imitation crab meat) the guy a the register charged me $35. This time around I order the same food plate but with tostones ( they gave me 1) lunch specials are posted at $7.99 ..
I paid $15 for the plate shown in the picture. The food didn't taste bad but it wasn't $35 nor $15 worth.

I am still amazed with how incredibly delicious and flavorful the food from La Familia was! They were so kind and supportive in helping me plan a spread that fit my budget. EVERYONE loved the arroz con pollo, yuca, chicharrones, croquetas, and empanadillas.Their integrity is top-notch as well! We had a small issue and they worked quickly to figure it out just in time for the party. They even followed up the next day to make sure it all went well. It's a joy to support such a lovely family business that takes so much pride in their word. God bless you guys.

We catered our wedding through them, and the food was so incredible that we ended up eating there every time we visited! They were extremely accommodating, great to work with, and set everything up beautifully for our big day.

Literally everyone loved the food, everything was fresh, flavorful, and nothing was dry (we kept it there for 2hrs before serving). We served pernil, bistec, and pollo guisado, and our guests couldn’t stop complimenting it. The biggest standouts were the rice and the chicken; people went back for seconds and thirds, and we ran out so fast because everyone loved it and many people asked where.
Amazing food and amazing people highly recommend!
