The food is amazing! Last night I had the red beans and rice, steak with peppers and onions with a side of plantains. The portion sizes are huge and the prices are low. Try this place out today!
Great little place. I went specifically for the food, so will comment mostly on that. They did have a small area for grocery items. I think they are limited by space. As for food. I recall seeing 3 types of rice (white, yellow & dirty). Variety of meats; ribs, chicken, pork, & steak. Two types of beans, black & brown. Plantains fried and baked. So so so good! Great little spot to grab a few things, drinks, or candies to go with your hot food. The space is small so you can eat outside or take it home. The best black beans I think I’ve ever had. Everything tasted so fresh and delicious. For sure pop in and grab a bite and you’ll have plenty leftover for the next day or about 30 mins later when you miss it and want to experience it all over.
