La Septima Cafe Reviews
Used to love La Septima. So we rediscovered it about a year ago but we more than likely will not return after several visits hoping it will get better. Seems they have been in a major decline since relocating several years ago. The old restaurant was warm and welcoming and steeped in tradition. A great place where you could be seated and have a server for a more intimate experience. Since moving, the restaurant feel is very cafeteria like and impersonal. The decor is less than...read full review
Better hope the boss isn’t dining in with his family when you go. We ordered our food and sat down just as the boss headed into the kitchen to get his family food. We are blessed to have LaSeptima as part of all of our life events. Today they wonderfully catered a family funeral. We are grateful for the memories while celebrating over great food. Thank you for being a part of our family for many years.

La Septima Cafe offers a fusion of flavors, with a mix of Cuban and other influences. The restaurant is known for its Fusion Bowl, Cuban sandwich, and Fried Whitefish, which customers have enjoyed for decades. The food is so amazing, with the deviled crab, fusion burrito, the olive butter and bread being just so perfect every time. The Seventh Avenue Salad with the Creamy Herb Dressing is a highlight. The catering experience was fantastic, with plenty of delicious food for guests. While the ambiance could be improved, the food and friendly service make it a popular destination for a true taste of Ybor. Consistency is key, and La Septima has this down, with the local soups and Cuban sandwich being especially good. The flavors are rooted in Cuban, Spanish, and Italian traditions, delivered with authenticity and pride, making it a local favorite for a relaxed, flavorful lunch or dinner.
