“We had another amazing experience at Azteca D’Oro! At this point, we’re officially regulars and there’s a reason we keep coming back.

The food is always fresh, hot, fast, and full of flavor. The Parrillada is fantastic: tender steak and chicken, chorizo, and bacon-wrapped shrimp are perfectly seasoned, and the portions are HUGE. The margaritas are great, but I also have to mention the surprisingly excellent bourbon selection. A Mexican restaurant with good bourbon? I’m sold!

What really makes this place special, though, is the people.

Blanca is absolutely amazing and truly one of the biggest reasons we became regulars. She is ALWAYS in motion, making sure drinks are full, everyone has what they need, and people are happy. No matter how busy things get, she makes you feel cared for and genuinely happy to see you. She is a huge part of what makes coming here feel like coming back to our place.

Michelle is always friendly and helpful, Giselle makes us feel right at home, and Daniel is always willing to jump in and help. Alex is another familiar face; he’s always checking in to make sure everything is good and seems to have a smile for everyone.

And then there’s Paola the guacamole and chip ninja! Somehow she always makes sure we have chips and salsa practically the second we sit down, and the fresh guacamole is a must.

A special shout-out also goes to manager Alberto, who consistently goes the extra mile checking that the food is perfect, offering great tequila recommendations, and being visibly supportive of his team. You can tell he genuinely cares about both his guests and his people.

Great food, great drinks, and most importantly, a great group of people who make us feel like regulars the minute we walk through the door. We’ll be back—probably sooner than we should be!“

I got pork sopas (which were indeed, humongous), my husband got birria, and my young daughter got a steak and cheese flour burrito thing (custom made at the end of the night thanks to the lovely ladies there).
