I usually shop here as it the only Mexican store in Brandon. First time buying Barbacoa and after getting home to see that it was filled with just fat and very little meat was disappointing. I think we got 2 tacos out of this. Tamales are always good and the store is generally busy. 2 stars because I feel like the staff that served this could have done better and saw what they were doing.

Extremely rude. Drove over 1hr to order tamales , just to receive bad service. Never again.

I called to find out about a price for a medication and the owner did not want to respond to the terrible price, the customer service starting with Mr. Well, disrespectful, he did not answer my question and avoided saying that he was busy, apparently he meant an exuberant price I got the same medicine at Walmart. God bless your business.

Excellent Authentic Mexican food!!! I had the barbacoa and lengua (beef tongue) tacos and my partner had carne asada burrito. Small place but they have authentic Mexican groceries, meats, cheeses, chilis, masa, and canned goods.
Friendly service and help there also. You won't be disappointed with the tacos they're the real deal!
I went everywhere looking for Vero Mango Lollipops and the local Latina stores didn’t have them so I tried this store and called before I went and the owner checked and told me they had some. Sure enough, I went and they did and for a reasonable price. They were the only store in Brandon/Riverview that had them and I am grateful. Owner was very nice and they also had a cafe that made food. I would definitely return, great store.
