“I woke up today and was craving this dish from The Thai and I in Bunnel. I ordered it online this morning to be picked up at 12:30pm for takeout along with a few other delicious creations. When I arrived, I realized they were closed today for NYD. But, guess what, this family of business owners popped in to make my order anyway. I would’ve been totally happy with a phone call to let me know if they were closed today, but instead of disappointing me they took time out of their day together with their family to make the food I had ordered.. Above and beyond to say the least. I tell you that story to show you what type of people they are, but at the end of the day you should frequent this restaurant because of the flavors and love they put into each and every dish they create. There are plenty of classic Thai dishes on their menu as well as some other of their families favorites. I encourage everyone to try them out, whether it’s takeout or to sit inside with their family and dine. As a fellow restaurateur, I applaud The Thai and I from A to Z. ?”

“This is a very nice business. When we first entered a very fresh smell filled the air. The inside is extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and quick to respond to you. The ice-cream is very good and priced reasonable!”

It was just opening after a good rain. I was the only one there. Maybe the rain brought the roaches out. German cocktail roaches. 🪳”

“This place is by far the best Mexican food in Bunnell AND Palm Coast! Haven’t had good Mexican food since leaving TX (not Tx-Mex). Fresh, homemade and very flavorful food. Best Birria tacos! Pics are their tamales, chips/salsa and taco salad. Love mixing the green & red salsas. Customer service is always amazing, friendly and have been wonderful with answering questions on the menu or specials.”

“Absolutely delicious burgers; Enormous; could Def share between 2 people!!!~ sadly the onion rings & fries were frozen which is 100% standard for down here. I've yet to find ANYWHERE that does em homemade, but they were cooked perfect. Other family members got chicken wings, tenders, & fried mushrooms & loved all of their food. Nothing but crumbs left LoL ?. The lady who took out to go order via phone was such a sweetie; very professional and bubbly. Well definitely order from here again & often. Love having & supporting a family owned business in my back yard~Service, pricing, & food was top notch!!!!!! A+++ 10***”

“Went there last week, and boy were we in for a treat!! Let's start with the garlic knots 100% not for sharing, get your own order!! Then we got the muscles, they were very good, my preference is thinner sauce on these, but will get again, next the calamari, superb!! Now the dinners, my husband got the veal Piccata, so tender, flavor perfect, my girlfriend got the veal marsala was perfect!! again so tender no knife needed, and both dishes, the veal was NOT thin like paper, it was exceptional!! I got chicken francese, the flavors just burst in your mouth, tender, was perfect!! If you haven't been here, you need to try it, you will not be disappointed!!! Going back next week , yes it's a 40 min drive, but who cares when the food is this good!! Pizza next visit!!! I would put the service and food at 5 stars, T Bunnels little secret!!!”

“DINNER REVIEW: THE SOUTHERN TABLE 501 S State St., Bunnell, FL 32110 With a week off from teaching theater classes at Matanzas High School, I’ve been doing some work at Flagler Playhouse and decided to walk somewhere for lunch today. Lucky for me—I randomly chose The Southern Table Restaurant. The Southern Table is exactly what I wanted it to be—a traditional diner-style restaurant just a few steps off US Highway 1, the type of place you see all over the southern states on road trips. The building was originally designed to be an Italian restaurant, so the clay tiled roof accents in the dining room do give it a bit more style than your average small town diner. It has a big front porch with outdoor tables where guests are welcome to enjoy their meal with their dogs in tow. The menu is extensive, and since I decided to write a review I chose to order something iconic: a country fried steak with macaroni & cheese and steak fries. The gravy on the steak is what makes it special, and the Southern Table nailed it—the gravy was perfect—creamy and savory without trying to be something it’s not. No one wants to eat a creative country fried steak: what we want is comfort and familiarity, and that’s what they serve at The Southern Table. Ma would have said “that plate needs some color!” so I added some ketchup to the steak fries. Perfect. There was a crowd in there for lunch, and the waitresses seemed to know everybody but me. Everyone was friendly without being up in my business. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves American food and small town businesses. Bring your dog.”

“Jason and his staff are really nice. They were very patient explaining the menu... then the food came out. I had the "Bourbon" ! It was delicious. I INTENDED to eat half and take home half and I ate the entire thing! The bread was so soft and the bacon, so crispy, I couldn't stop eating. And am now feeling bad about myself. So to redeem myself, I figured I'd write this review. I 100% recommend this "hidden gem"!”
