Top notch. Service & food. Not your typical eatery for an Island resort...This was fine dining but in a casual resort setting. Pricing was like a Mortons steakhouse & worth it !! Escargot / Filet Oscar / drinks & dessert.....

Excellent upscale venue. Superior view of the gulf. The menu has a wide variety of steak and seafood dishes. We always make it a point to dine at the new Crows Nest when we stay at Tween Waters. It never disappoints.

The view is stunning, the service excellent and the food was good. However, I have a hard time justifying the cost of the meal which is very expensive. It was a nice place to get a drink at the bar and take in the view but doubt I will have dinner there again based on the prices.

Rolls were cold and flat. Looks like other baskets had been on top. Asked to share wedge salad. Salad came out with xtra plate for us to cut and share. Waitress said kitchen too busy.

My wife and I had been to the Crow's Nest a few times already. This time she wanted to take her son and his girlfriend there. We were celebrating both of the women's birthdays. We had the same waitress that we've had before. Her name is Shelby. She is excellent. She's nice and friendly. She's in constant motion. Our service was great! The food was outstanding. The drinks were very good. The view is unmatched.

Awesome restaurant and food. Sean was absolutely the best person that worked with us for an amazing experience and meal on our 14th wedding anniversary with our young children. Can't say enough about him. They are lucky to have him. A must to have a great meal and feel special. And the bone in filet was among the best I have ever had as a steak snob.

Kid-friendliness: My boys are very well mannered so I would say no rowdy kids. 12 and over is their rule.

The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, and that view just can't be beat. If you're anywhere on the islands of Captiva or Sanibel, Crow's Nest should be on your MUST-GO list of places.

As a regular customer, I was appalled by the behavior of the manager, Tom, during my recent visit. His disrespectful and unprofessional treatment of a patron was shocking and unacceptable. I have always enjoyed dining here, but witnessing this has made me question my continued support for this restaurant. Such behavior from management creates a hostile environment that no customer should have to endure. I hope this issue is addressed promptly, as it has greatly diminished my confidence in this establishment.

Crow’s Nest, located on the Tween Water’s Resort is worth the visit and reservations are required. Upon our stay at the Tween Waters, we were provided guest credit so we decided to use it for dining on out last night’s stay. The dining experience and service was world class. The restaurant décor was exquisite and modern with an impressive view of the sunset. We both has the Fillet streak, cocktails and for dessert the best Crème Brulé.

We really enjoyed dinner here. I had the pork chop and hubby had the vegan dish which he said was very good! This is very high end restaurant and you are expected to dress accordingly. Didn’t appreciate seeing patrons with hats on while dining. That’s just a pet peeve I have. In NJ they ask you to remove you hat upon arrival

Trying to be an upscale, high end dining experience in an "Old Florida" style resort is more than a little out of place. While our meals were very good, we have had many better meals for half of the cost. With the tip, the meal for the two of us was north of $300.00, for 2 cocktails, 2 glasses of wine and two entrees (no dessert).

We had a great experience while we were at the Crows Nest. Food was great. Service was great. Menu was great. The servers were very attentive. Everything was at a great pace. I never felt rushed like a lot of other restaurants.

Beautiful little gem in Captiva. Fantastic view of sunset. Bartender and staff were great. Wonderful atmosphere. Steaks (NY Strip & Ribeye) were good. Could definitely use some more wine choices, especially by the glass. The entire property is a great little resort to take your boat to, or drive to. Our 2nd time and we'll be back.

The wait staff is excellent, the food is overpriced. The 12oz ribeye was less than 1" thick, and not what was expected from a steak house, quality of food did not warrant the price. I'll skip this place and move on.

We were excited to try the Crow’s Best Steakhouse as it was still under construction last time we were in Captiva Island. The restaurant is in a newly created space on the second floor of the restaurant building at Tween Waters Resort. This is a beautiful space with just 9-10 tables and a horseshoe shaped bar with seating around it. Beautiful big windows with views of the resorts private beach, the ocean and sunset. We sat at the bar and ordered dinner. The bartender is Cecilia and she was friendly, helpful and kind.
The menu has quite a few items listed to choose from. We ordered French Onion soup($14), Prosciutto wrapped Prawns with Mac n cheese ($21), Filet Oscar is a Filet with lump crab meat on top with a Berenaise sauce with roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables ($68) and three glasses of wine ($15, $15 & $16).
The French Onion soup was very tasty and I recommend it. The Prosciutto Wrapped Prawns were not my favorite…the prawns themselves were huge but the Prosciutto really took away the flavor of them. The Mac n cheese it is served on top of was quite bland tasting and not something I enjoyed. This dish needs some work.
The Filet Oscar…the filet itself could use a bit more seasoning, but the lump crab meat with berenaise sauce was tasty. The roasted potatoes and grilled vegetables were also very tasty.
