“Our server Alyssa was awesome, we'll start there. We stopped by for Taco Tuesday and had the option of 3 beef or chicken tacos for $8.99 which was well worth it,yummy. We also tried the grouper sandwich which my husband thought was too fishy but I liked it. The Pina Colada was a good amount for the price but it seemed to be missing the pineapple flavor, coconut and a little bit of pineapple, ok but not great. Extremely friendly staff, from the host to Alyssa to someone else who we asked a question. They're going to become the Beachside Cafe I believe and we wish them well!“

“We went to this place to celebrate my grandpa’s birthday, it was our first time in Clearwater and everything was just perfect. Service was great, we got drinks and coffee. We try the Garlic Knots with marinara sauce and the garlic bread with cheese. A chicken bacon ranch and a prosciutto crudo of 16” pizza great size to share. For dessert we try tiramisu and it was amazing! Coffee is 100% recommended, creamy and consistency every time! I ordered two coffees. My family had a great time, I would definitely come back! Thanks again, I can’t thank you enough for the great time we had.“

“We came on a late Sunday afternoon. We had just left the WingHouse on Ulmerton without eating (see review). Intent on not letting that ruin our afternoon we decided on Quaker Steak & Lube. It is the opposite direction to our house from WH and twice as far, but we'd been one other time and had a good experience. Upon arriving we found a bike show had just ended. The patio was packed but we still got a table. There were so many rad bikes and awesome vendors, and a really good live band on a huge stage. Our server Kacie was a rock star. Cool, friendly, professional, and on top of it. She ran that entire patio and never missed a beat. Kept our drinks and bellies full. We tell our kids all the time we can buy all the food we get at restaurants at the grocery store and make it ourselves. We go out for atmosphere and service. Having good food you don't have to make yourself is a luxury. One I'm willing to pay for when the service is there. Without good service there's no point to the restaurant industry. Unfortunately for us all that is being lost and forgotten more and more by those in the industry now. It's a shame and a detriment to business owners, the industry, and our society as a whole. Kacie hasn't forgot that and is actually the embodiment of the exact opposite. “Great BBQ place! We had the Bone Fire: it was a lot of food for a big party, and it was perfect. It comes with a little smoker underneath it so it gives you a good backyard barbecue experience at your table and you get to try a little bit of everything. Great drinks and beer, the servers were a little busy, but with food that good, it’s hard not to be.P.S the Pork Belly Pops were good, but not something I’d order again. Just too much for very little food.“

“Been here a few times before and haven't been impressed enough to write a review, until now. Vincent was our first impression upon walking up and honestly set the tone for a great night. He opened the door for us and helped us to a table outside. Our waitress Rachel was very attentive and provided nice service. The team worked well together and helped with food as well. I just wish outside was a non smoking area. The gluten free pizza here is always great. The wings were good, a little dry and some a little burnt too but still flavorful nonetheless..There is a points system that is rarely mentioned, don't forget to ask about it ! The manager Vincent visited us again during our meal to ensure we were enjoying ourselves to which we definitely were.Overall a successful date night, and I was able to kick someone's butt in Uno. “we get delivery so I can't comment on the atmosphere but everyone is always friendly and helpful. Delivery is usually pretty fast depending on how busy they are but always has been a reasonable wait. Delivery guys are always friendly even though we have a jerk dog that acts like he wants to eat them and the pizza ?. Pizza is AWESOME ! Verrazzanos is the only place we order from. “Im a frequent visitor of the "left coast" beaches. This trip brought me to Clearwater for an afternoon Phils game at BayCare Ball Park....Stopped in Philly Joes before the game. Had a great initial feeling when we walked in when some local firefighters were enjoying their lunch. Always a good sign...Split a cheese steak fried onions and order Fries with the wifey. Had the steak with Joes homemade velvety smooth cheese sauce which was delicious. Also was provided with couple side cups filled with the cheese sauce to dip our fries. Steak was delicious and roll was OK. I'm spoiled living here in the Philly area as far as rolls go. Food was prepared and served by Joe himself who was behind the line. Place was incredibly clean which Joe took an incredible amount of pride in when we spoke to him for a few mins on our way out. Joe is a true NE Philly guy that's putting out a great product in the Clearwater area.“

We ordered our food finally was delivered everything was cold. Not the kitchens fault, we watched our food sit in the window while our server was too busy talking to her friend. My wife had steamed shrimp that was now cold and had to be sent back. My wings were room temp and the fries were cold. Four meals and 3 orders of fries all cold. The entire meal our server was standing with her back to us as she talked to her friend. We had to interrupt her conversation several times to get drinks refills that had been sitting empty since we got our food. She forgot part of one of the orders and treated it as if we were bothering her because we interrupted her conversation with her friends and she had to do her job. Worst service I have ever had there. It is the original hooter, what else do you need to know. Good wings, good service.“

Happy to learn there is a larger establishment for next time I'm down this way.The concept is great as the food didn't feel like fast food but more like take out from a regular barstaurant.It was later in the evening and likely not a popular night as there was no one else in line, but we waited 10+ minutes for the food. To be clear, this is not a complaint, but it is what drove me to lookup the story behind the establishment. Again, not from the area so I was expecting more "fast food" wait times give it is a drive thru. So, if you're looking for fast food, I suggest looking elsewhere.
