I was beyond sad to hear about this place deciding to close it doors. I know the owner has another one of his restaurants in Tampa but still cafe Ponte is the best in the Bay Area. World renowned chefs, classical piano playing, grand selection of fine wines.. I could go on but most people who know this restaurant already understand the beauty of it here. Great surprise! Wonderful service! The menu and food is like a fine European restaurant and that is the perfect experience. Kudos to the young Host. Young but super job. Can't say enough about this restaurant.

I've only dined here a few times, but I wish I had the opportunity for a few more times. Read that this restaurant is closing, which is unfortunate. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and delicious food. All the best to Chef Chris Ponte as he pursues other restaurant ventures in the area. I look forward to visiting those soon.
