“Candidly, this place will not get enough traction being off the beach and off the beaten path. Plus, there are just better locations and views at South Beach and Rockaway.
Having said that, this was my LAST stop on the Cocktail Challenge, and I enjoyed my drink on a humid day and, if I’m being honest, lived my Dockside Lemonade the best of all the drinks on the challenge. I had the Banana Hammock and, of course, the Rum Runner, which was outstanding, but this Dockside Lemonade was cool and refreshing and welcomed. A little sweet as a heads up, but really a nice summer drink!
At the end of the day, this was a great way to finish my challenge and had a pleasant experience! For the record, if you are interested in the challenge. Go South Beach, Rockaway, Saltwater (for the views and true on-the-beach dining). End with a grouper sandwich (the best I had) at the Original and then cash in your passport at the next block at Off the Hook!“

“A lady friend & I enjoyed a delicious lunch there on 10/8/25. The food was all home made, ample, & so reasonably priced. The owners are very proud of what they serve, are friendly & personable. This fine restaurant deserves our patronage. I'm including a thank you to them.“

“I've been a regular at Nick's Cafe for the past year, and every visit is a delightful experience.
