“General Tso's is the best in town! The batter is a perfectly fluffy and crispy texture. Combo with rice and egg roll you get a very generous portion and everything is delicious. We ordered at the counter and our food was ready in less than 10 minutes, all freshly cooked. My buddy got the Sweet & Sour Shrimp and said it's exactly the meal he was looking for. We also split an order of Crab Rangoons, again they were sweet and crispy, just right. I already want to go back for more, and it's definitely worth the drive over the other places in town. Thank you friends at China Taste!“

“Just moved to the area and this is fantastic and I know good Chinese food. I've been using Uber Eats and it comes well packaged, hot, and delicious. Full of flavor, not tons of salt masquerading as flavor. Best Egg Foo Yung ever, Hunan choices are great, egg roll and spring rolls fried perfectly, soups are amazing.“

“No table/seats. Takeout boxes and supplies on the dining hall. Menu photos are fading out. True hall in the wall place.
But it does not matter. The food is deliciously prepared and the portions are generous. And it costed me $8.75 for that large platter plus a can of Coke. Can’t complain. We STILL need place like this, especially during this era of inflation.
If you are in the town of Clermont, FL and crave the old-fashioned American-Chinese takeout, I highly recommend you to try Bamboo Garden.“

“We were visiting from Massachusetts & Atlanta and we loved the food here. A lot like northern American Chinese food, so it was perfect for us. The boneless pork spare ribs were amazing! All the food was delicious! Very impressed and fast delivery with a smile. Will definitely order food from them again next time we come down to Orlando/Disney area.“

“If you’re like me when it comes to eating out, then the measure of a great restaurant is making good food at a good value, consistently. Of all the Chinese places we have tried in the Clermont area, this one checks all three.
Vegetarian options: Love their General Tsao tofu for sweetness or their tofu in garlic sauce for spicy and savory
Parking: Tons of spaces because it is next to a Publix.“

“I have the chicken and broccoli in garlic sauce, and oh my saucy, spicy, sweet…deliciousness!!! I will definitely be back. The price was not too bad either.
Vegetarian options: I had the vegetable lo-mein (soft noodles) and they were able to make it how I wanted.“

“I miss living near Downtown Orlando for all the Asian restaurants. This side of Clermont is still growing and after trying a few other places here China Gourmet is my go to whenever the cravings hit!
The flavor is legit and the food always leaves me fulfilled. I've even tried platters I don't usually get and it was great as well, lol.
Definitely recommended!“
“We always get food here and loved it .But as of 6/2023 the place has been taken over by new people and their rice is yellow rice not the house special we use to get .Well not go there anymore and will see where the orignal owner went hopefully“

“New to the area and wanted some Chinese food, house fried rice and egg drop soup are my go-to (even though I know how to make both) I wanted to see how different it may be from southern Florida Chinese restaurants.
Sadly, the egg drop soup is too chunky for my liking but I’m not one to waste food because I don’t like it. ( my mom taught me better than that) but the fortune cookie was stale, same for the wonton crackers I put into the soup. As far as that goes, I also ordered the bourbon chicken with the house fried rice instead of pork, the chicken was nice like in a mall food court (which was what I was going for) the rice sadly didn’t have much flavor but they added some sauce packets so that helps! Would I ever eat here again? Maybe. I like to give places 3 tries before I say never again. Maybe try something else next time. Hope this helps!“

“Plain, non-garish exterior. Nice, well-lit interior, clean, airy, ample space. Food looks good, smells good, tastes very good. The buffet displays are clean, frequently replenished. Hibachi excellent, food tasty, appealing and appetizing. Sushi had good flavor and components, but most of the rolls without nori were not tightly rolled and tended to break when picking with chopstick. Beer and wine available. Friendly and quick service. Got my senior discount, so dinner was only about $16. Had to drive 25 minutes to get there but it was worth the drive. Would certainly return soon. Thank you.“

“I cannot recommend this place enough! I get the tuna poke bowl (typically has seaweed in it but I got it without it). They have the freshest tuna I’ve had in a while (even better than the east coast). The sushi’s great as well but nothing can top the tuna bowl in my opinion! Had a picture but it wont let me upload it. 10/10 would recommend.“
