“I am very picky about Chinese restaurants. This one has been consistently very good over the years. Personally, I have never had a complaint. I usually get a combination, but I also get soup, fried rice, and egg rolls a large carte. Just had shrimp and lobster sauce combo, and the SLC was SO GOOD. 4 shrimp for a combo, and they were MASSIVE. Every time I go, the restaurant is clean outside in the front and inside.“

“I'm a Chinese guy but I'm not gonna lie. It's tough to find good general Tsos chicken. Usually mostly breading or a sauce that's too thick or sweet. The online order gave the option for level of heat when i put it in and asked for very spicy. I upgraded to lo mein for 1.50 more. The sauce was spicy and light with the perfect sweetness. The chicken was crispy but actually had real chicken inside. The lo mein was not flooded with soy and it had a really wonderful taste. I will most definitely be back soon. The lady at the counter was also super nice. 5 stars all the way!“

“I asked for an odd combo of black bean sauce on my chow mei fun and it was SO. DAMN. GOOD.

This was our first time eating here, and everything we got was GREAT. The eggroll was made with love. There was just one woman (the owner i believe) running the kitchen!

“Legitemately the best Chinese takeout of all time. My husband grew up with this place, when we met he introduced me and I knew I could never eat at any other Chinese takeout again! The quality at Wah Yoan is unmatched! We don't even live in the are anymore and I still send my husband 30 mins away to pick it up or willingly pay a long distance delivery fee specifically to get it from here. A problem I've had with other Chinese takeout places (besides quality in general) is the fried items always taste nasty like bad oil and chicken pieces are typically... odd. I'm very particular about chicken. At Wah Yoan though? I will eat an entire container of chicken without thinking twice! Their fried items are the absolute best as well. I love their egg rolls. It's hard to recommend one thing because actually everything is good, but I would say the honey chicken is a stand out! I will continuing spreading the Wah Yoan gospel, please never close shop!!“

“I have been coming here for years and have yet to have a meal that wasn’t outstanding. The service is also surprisingly warm and friendly. It’s the only take out restaurant that has continued to ask about my family and constantly wishes me a happy holiday whenever one is near. I have only had takeout from here, as the dining in atmosphere is very minimal. “If you Google "China Star" your order will be hijacked by Door Dash. They have marked up the prices ($3.50 for plain lo mein vs. $2.75 if you order at the counter or by phone) as well as assessing a delivery fee and mandating a tip. Evidently they don't "get" the idea that the faster they get it to your door, the bigger the tip. Although the checkout allows you to select "pickup" the web genie will not process an order unless you select "delivery".In other words, China Star is great — and needs to cut all ties with DoorDash“

Was great, always been good for a decent price. Friendly staff, they greeted me when I walked in and brought the food in less than 5 minutes. ... tonight was the 1st time ever order here...

Around 7:15pm on a Monday, we walked in the food court, they offered us bourbon chicken and orange chicken samples, both were super flavourful! (Think that classic bourbon chicken from your favorite mall growing up... straight up nostalgia)

Without hesitation, we ordered... 2x two meat plate with two sides. Both meals with bourbon chicken and orange chicken. They proceeded to make our meat options fresh to order from the kitchen (Not something you typically expect from a food court)! We loved it!

The food was just as tasty as the samples, super reasonably priced, and containers packed full!

“One of the best Chinese spots around central Florida. They used to have express food, which I still miss to this day. But their food is equivalent to old style Chinese. Their General Tso is always crispy and their beef dishes are always tender. I will gladly drive 30 minutes to get here!“

“This place is such a great value, especially today ordering the lunch menu for the first time & is very affordable & filling. This meal will probably last me about 2 or 3 meals & love it because it's conveniently located across the plaza from the Walmart Supercenter & can walk here & back in about 5 minutes & get my food out in less than five minutes. It's very similar to the Chinese restaraunts I grew up with but this cashew chicken is unique that I haven't had & also great if you don't want fast food or Mexican.“
