The sandwich itself was pretty good, but not mind blowing. My main issue is that the value is simply not there. For the price, I was expecting a huge sandwich that would cover two meals, but that was not the case. The quality of the sandwich was good, but again not enough to justify the spend.
The sandwiches are fresh with delicious imported meats from Italia 🇮🇹, is my understanding. The focaccia bread 🍞 is not doughy. It is light & has nice light crisp to it. My only complaint would be the prices. Regardless, this is an elevated sandwich experience.
I stumbled here on my lunch break across the street from UM Lennar Medical Center and will 100% be going back. It can be tricky to find but just look for the bright red door. Inside you'll find a pretty standard looking deli, but what shines is the food! As my first time here, I ordered the Jholano, which is a prosciutto, mortadella, salami, melted brie and arugula, all in between crunchy, toasted focaccia smothered in delicious, sweet fig jam. One of the best sandwiches...
