They have tasty, creamy grits. The omelets are good. The corned beef hash is good. Wife loves the matzo ball soup. Service can be slow, especially when busy.

The deli meats are good, but the rye bread is stale enough to fall apart before you finish the sandwich. Of course, they pile it high in the middle of the bread to make the portion seem large. It's adedquate but no more. The sour, SPOILED matzo ball soup broth was UNFORGIVABLE. Not a real NY deli. We won't be back. Lots of Lox is ceaper and BETTER.

Food was really really bad.
Reply to your reply: I actually did speak up and sent the food back, asked to have some sort of sauce or something on it, asked the bread to be toasted, literally told them I cannot eat this. I’ve sent back food maybe 3 times total in my life. I did not want to leave a review but it’s been about a week and I still think about how bad your turkey sandwich was, that should tell you something :) what you served me I could’ve made by stopping at a gas station, two piece of not toasted bread with a chunk of turkey in between and one piece of lettuce and two small tomato pieces outside of the sandwich, how is that a restaurant meal? You just put 4 items on a plate. Zero sauce or flavor, you seriously need to reconsider your food

Nice atmosphere, accommodating staff however how do they not have veggie tuna as a selection. Another issue is the abundance of mayo in the tuna salad. They need to understand that the type of clientele in this area is not interested in eating an unhealthy fatty item . Great place however they need to curb that mayor or provide an alternative

I purchased 2 pumpernickel bagel sandwiches with lox and cream cheese—-not a tomato or a shred of anything else and a cup of watery old cole slaw and they charged $49.00! I was appalled and paid and left. How does this place stay open? Who would ever go there again? Complete rip off!

Friendly attentive staff, good portion size for price
Wheelchair accessibility: Building floor is flat. Some tight corners. There is a curb outside the building that you need to be aware of as well

We recently visited Bagel Emporium in Coral Gables and were disappointed with the quality of our meal. The wrap was served cold and tasted undercooked, which significantly detracted from the experience. If they’re not going to warm the wraps, they would be better off using higher-quality ones. Additionally, the bread on our sandwich was falling apart, and the pastrami was noticeably poor in quality. To top it off, the potato salad contained undercooked potatoes, further adding to our dissatisfaction. Overall, the meal did not meet our expectations.
Response to Review:
As a customer, we believe in providing honest feedback based on our experience. While it’s unfortunate that the response focuses on discrediting our review rather than addressing the concerns we raised, it’s important for businesses to take feedback seriously in order to improve. Our intention was never to deceive anyone but to share what we encountered during our visit. We encourage everyone to form their own opinions, but constructive dialogue is always more productive than deflection.

horrible!!! The man service me was so rude.I asked him if they can warm up my bagel and he said. “you have to tell me that”. Then the cashier was very rude she told my friend “hellloo” i’m a rude tone. Then me and my friends wanted to sit inside and the hostess told us we couldn’t sit. Very very due and EXPENSIVE.

I drove 10 miles out of the way to come to the restaurant. Bagels and gravy was not on the menu yet. They said they had. Store was clean. Service is good orange juice is served in a 10 ounce cup and you get charged for a 16 ounce cup $4.99. When I saw the juice behind the cashier, I asked her what size that was that was a 16 ounce she said. How much is that 4.99? That is larger than what I received at the table. I told her the one I got at the table was in a 10 ounce cup and much smaller. I will never come here again. Very disappointed. My seven year old grandson makes better omelettes than the food is much better on presentation. Not once did anyone try to explain, I got a lot of blanks stairs.

A Coral Gables staple for deli fair. There is nothing as authentic as this within the Gables.
Edit: As the years have passed, more than the staff has grown tired. Expect items to be missing on takeout, the girl who is taking orders isn’t as sharp as the man who once did, at least on a Wednesday. Sad to see.

Customized and amazing + delicious bagel sandwich! I got a turkey sausage, egg and cheese on an Asiago bagel with cream cheese and it was an IDEAL breakfast. Everything was so fresh + staff were friendly

Went to the Bagel Emporium for the first time. It’s an old favorite of my wives. She was right, very worth the trip.
It’s located in a small strip mall, almost directly across the street from University metrorail station.
The spinach omelette I ordered was delicious. It came with a choice of sides and the home fries were excellent. Also comes with choice of bagel or toast. I had an onion bagel which was on the dry side.
Their coffee was not great (too bitter for my taste) but went well with the cinnamon rugelach that I had for dessert.
Finally I ordered White Fish dip for take away. Ate that the next day. It was very expensive - $27 for a medium size - but very likely the best fish dip I’ve had in Miami.
This place has an old school charm. U get the impression that most of the staff have been there for many years.
Will definitely head back again next time am in So. Miami or heading to Wild Fork (a short walk away) for some frozen fish.

This is my go to breakfast pace. The food is very good made with quality products. This is food like you would make at home, if you could. In my opinion, they have the best bagels in town.
I highly recommend the Country Fried Steak and Eggs, with sausage gravy, of course.
They feature a full menu that has everything from Matzo Ball Soup to Smoked Fish Platters, to awesome Hot Pastrami sandwiches, to Burgers, Wraps, and a Roasted Turkey Dinner that will make you think you were having dinner at your grandmothers house.
They also have a classic deli counter featuring all kinds of bagels, with all the toppings such as lox, smoked salmon, plain and flavored cream cheese. There are also other things such as potato salad, cookies, spreads, etc.
They have inside and outside seating.
Go try them, you will be glad you did.
Kid-friendliness: Kids will love it with plenty of food they will love.
