Edgar Allan Poe speakeasy. 👎
Went for an Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy event that was performative monologe coupled with specialty drinks prior to each story telling. The Woman's Club was ample for the large amount of people and perfectly situated in Coral Gables.
There was also a party going on in the adjacent hall and people looked like they were having a Good time, so it appears the Woman's Club can be rented out for Special events. So check it out if you need a venue and see if it works for you. ENJOY!!

Elegant understated venue
I recently attended a wedding at the Coral Gables Women’s Club, and I was absolutely blown away by the venue. The historic charm of this building, which dates back to the 1920s or 1930s, has been wonderfully preserved. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the timeless elegance and the attention to detail in maintaining the beauty of the space.
The architecture and interior design truly made the event feel special. The high ceilings, beautiful woodwork, and vintage touches transport you to another era, while still providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for guests. The courtyard was stunning, providing the perfect backdrop for wedding photos and a gorgeous setting for the ceremony.
If you’re considering this venue for an event, you won’t be disappointed. It combines history and beauty in a way that creates a memorable experience for everyone who attends. Highly recommend!
This place is amazing! Beautiful & spacious; me and my wife loved it for our wedding, and so did our guests! Manuela made it super easy and smooth to book, and worked so well with us for the set up and tear down! I 100% recommend this place!
