We celebrated my Mother's 90th Birthday there tonite Feb 8..To start with Helen our server and event planner and Georgina the Chef and General Manager were amazing, thoughtful and took absolutely perfect care of us from planning to completion. The table, the appetizers, drinks, main course and lastly the heavenly Churros were all amazing,. All 26 guest at the table loved every little detail and the food was beyond our expectations. The rest of the staff that assisted Helen deserve applause too. Thank you for making a special night memorable. We will be back and often.

I thought I was going to a sushi restaurant but it was a hodgepodge of sushi and other things and nothing sounded appetizing. I took the safe road and had a salad which was good. The place apparently becomes a club at 10 so they were setting up the music and equipment so it was loud. The restaurant was also empty and for a Saturday night that seems like a sign. The waitress was nice and kept promoting how good stuff was. I won't be going back there are too many choices in Miami now.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Never ordering form here again. They canceled my order after they rescheduled it twice. Me and my husband waited for it almost 2 hours and then they canceled it. Worst service and place to eat.

Terrible service… we ordered Uber Eats and the order was supposed to be between 8:40 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and we are already going to the third driver to look for the order and it still isn't there!! Please be serious, if you can't handle the orders, don't promise what you can't fulfill!! One star is too much for the service kk.

Kao is an underrated spot in Coral Gables. Many restaurants pop up and last a year or 2. Kao has persevered without sacrificing quality and service. My husband and I had not been in since Covid. We were in the Gables and decided to revisit the place and it did not disappoint. We like many things about Kao: the diverse menu options, all of which were delicious, excellent service from our thoughtful server Helen, excellent cocktails, ambiance is fun and creative and they turn into a club on the weekend. My husband and I ordered the Braised Lamb Shank which was super tender and flavorful after being stewed over 5 hours. The mixed vegetables were delicious as well. Our friends had the grilled octopus which was tender and delicious and the Flap Steak which was tender and tasty. We started with a sausage appetizer and the sausage was spicy and tasty. We also each had an empanada of a different flavor. They were crispy and tasty. For dessert, we shared the brownie sunday and the choc chip cookie sunday which were both delicious. We recommend Kao highly and hope you will give it a try. Debbie & Darin S

Without a doubt, Kao is today my favorite place, each dish is exquisite both in its presentation and in the taste of the food. It is truly spectacular. It is a very pleasant place where you will also be able to enjoy the variety of live music they offer. I recommend it. 100% don't stop visiting them, we will regret it!!!!

LOVED this place! Everything about it was sooo enjoyable! Food quality/portion size/presentation, and especially OMG TASTE!! Had the Grilled Branzino served as a whole fish (no head) butterfly crispy skin-on, Gnocchi in Pomodoro sauce, sliders, delicious Ceviche, and even savory personal suze pizza all at INCREDIBLE value menu prices!! Best restaurant bargain in a while. Service from Claudia and her associates was warm and attentive. Had to ask to meet Chef Georgina to congratulate her for preparing an excellent meal! Even loved the loungey background music Will be back soon! Highly recommend!!!

The restaurant is in a great location it’s interior fitting the location. Staff very accommodating parking little bit of a problem maybe Sears nearby may be a good place to park. The meats were excellent pastas with the pink sauce del. They have the best ceviche of anywhere.

They had a splendid Live show featuring Huss Abdala on the persuasion and it was such a great dining experience. My wife and I are big fans of sushi and loved the Latin twist on it.
